    Keane Barry is through

Jose de sousa wins his match against Steve West without realising he won until the ref tells him 😅

Willie O'Connor has a winnable enough L32 tie against Stephen Bunting.

Keane Barry has Neils Zonnevald - just about as good a draw as he could have hoped for getting someone ranked 75 in the L32 round.

Both will be Board3/4 games obviously.

Nothing too stand-out in the rest of the draw - Jonny Clayton v Jose De Sousa the only Top16 v Top16 matchup. MVG (Damon Heta), Gerwyn Price (Jamie Hughes) and Peter Wright (Simon Whitlock) will likely be 3 of the 4 TV games in the afternoon. 4th game will either be Clayton v De Sousa or Michael Smith v Gabriel Clemens (which really should be bumped down to Board 2).

Big shout out to Scott Waites beard btw, impressive stuff.

Searle v dvdb. the standout tie for me.

    Yeah, it's been bad.

Rydz v Van Der voort in the next round.

I might give the cameraman a free pass on that one though 😁

Boris Krcmar hammered Chisnall. Reeled off 6 legs in a row

Keane Barry makes it through after a last leg decider. Took out 121 when Zonneveld was waiting on 40

Keane Barry takes out 121 to win the deciding leg against the throw for a 10-9 win

O'Connor makes it through after a last leg decider. Bunting had a mare with his finishing:

KB had 6 darts at a double to go 9-4 up on Ricky E, hope it doesn’t come back to haunt him

    Fantastic

Delighted Barry got through. It'd be great to have an Irish player to cheer on in the latter stages of big tournaments on a regular basis, hopefully KB can be just that!

Lovely lovely 9 darter from Wade.

    all centre of the bed

Whenever they play Chelsea Dagger I'm expecting Roland Scholten to appear on stage, he had that as his walk on at some stage I'm nearly certain?

Excellent, 10-7 to Willie. Super on the doubles

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,868 ✭✭✭Sultan of Bling

    Brilliant from O'Connor.

    Totally deserved.

An all Irish quarter final perhaps?

What a day for Damon Heta.

    2 huge scalps.

  • Registered Users Posts: 6,621 ✭✭✭ThebitterLemon

    Rydz totally outplayed there.

He's great to watch, but maybe he needs to slow down just a touch.

He seemed to be trying too hard.

A great performance from price though tbf. He certainly upped it a bit from this afternoon.
