Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

10 days of positive antigen tests (and a PCR): when can I return to work?

    Today is day 10 of positive antigen tests. Peculiarly, the two red lines were significantly redder today than yesterday - I thought they get lighter red as the viral load leaves one's body? I also had a positive PCR test at the weekend. The HSE lady rang me after that and said as soon as I get a negative PCR test I can go back to work (in a busy, public-serving role) the following day. [I can't work from home]

    I am still symptiomatic but it might as well be a flu of some sort - cough, sneezing, headache, a lot of tiredness. I am isolating, which is putting a burden on my other half to raise the kids, whom I can see on phone camera as they talk to me outside the bedroom door every day. Many people have said a positive antigen test can continue for much longer, hence my question here. Also, should I get another PCR if this continues? I'm conscious that for medical cert cover I'm declaring the test positive, but a positive PCR is the State itself confirming it.

    Anybody have any suggestions on when I can return given the repeated positive tests? Thank you.
