Any word on the voluntary suckler reduction scheme, may be worth having high value on cows when that comes in...?

i hadnt time to look through all posts but my advice is get rid of the suckler cows and buy weanlings or stores and finsh even dairy cross yolkes. how on earth do you calve cows and work full time? i had about 20 once upon a time at college but once i was working i got rid of the lot, my main findings were a lot less work , less silage needed and lower vets bills. though im in a very different part of the country
