You'd be better off buy the bare tool and waiting for a twin pack deal.

You'd get much more for the same money.

Even this has 2 batteries and a brushless drill

Thanks for that. Makes much more sense and getting a combi drill with 2 batteries for less money, don't really need that expensive battery charger do i

I ended up waiting and bought the Dewalt DCF 899 monster, family member has a few batteries and chargers so got the bare tool for just under €200 at Screwfix. It has some weight to it but that's probably due to the high torque so it doesn't rattle itself to death, yet to use it but I'm very hopeful, nice 3 year warranty too. I don't think I'll need anything else for what I'm doing.

Also have a small sealey 3/8 impact wrench that comes in handy in tighter spaces just to remove bolts after they've been broken loose.

Bit late to the party but I was in a similar situation and ended up getting a brushless WORX one a few years ago (Haven't got model details to hand but it was less than 200 quid).

For a DIYer it does the job nicely for most things, usually used for suspension bits and pieces and wheel nuts for quicker/easier wheel removal etc. Had a few impact sockets in my socket set and then bought a set from IGE (https://www.ige.ie) which together hasn't left me needing anything else to date..

    ~LTD.
