A bit laboured from Ireland. Panicky and it's costing them

Genuinely was expecting Pearce to blow it up and say "advantage actually not over" when Lowe got on the end of that.

No point telling the captain to talk only a yellow will make them think twice before doing that

That was intense. Gibson-Park was so close to nabbing the the ball with his fingers.

Put NZ on our line, and we're doing the same thing, and watch what happens.

Are tackles off the ball allowed now?

How did that ball pop out without illegal hands?

It's hard when their hands are all over the ball constantly with no repercussions.

3 more penalty advantages here. Seems the warning was only for late hits.

    Pearce is bottling it.

second warning delivered now. Called “enough”.

    Would rather take 3 there

We're leaving a lot of scores with all three corners kicks.

We need to take those chances. We are lacking a cutting edge. It's like watching someone frantically trying to cut a loaf of bread with a butter knife. The All Blacks will have a phase in the second half when they will dominate and they could score 20+ points in 10 minutes.

wtf is wrong with sexton ? Is he trying to lose the game? Points need to be taken

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2, Paid Member Posts: 12,285 ✭✭✭✭fullstop

**** sake. Take the bloody points when it’s going in the red.

Would have surely been much better going for the three there.

We've shown excellent hands and work at the ruck. Our decision making of when to pass and when to run has been very good too. But the execution when literally a metre from New Zealand's line has lacked.

We're 5 behind, but should be 10 points in front

Crazy, we've left so many kickable points behind.

That half has angered me no end.

    Pearce is absolutely bottling it.

Hands all over the deck from NZ when we get within a sniff of the try line. Comical stuff really.

"Well, yeah, you know, that's just, like, your opinion, man"

    Exactly.

NZ have gotten every bit of luck in that first half.

Not being Captain Hindsight but you need to take your points there right at the end of the half

Bad decision there not kicking the 3

All blacks with a LOT of tackles and a few subs already made.

Might be us with the late win this time...!

Feck. Doris needs to be catching them - can't blame Kelleher for that one

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,996 ✭✭✭lawrencesummers

Our reaction to their try is utterly commendable.

Nobody's head dropped, no one complaining just went right back at them.

If we can repeat that performance in the second half for 40 minutes more cracks will appear, but its a big ask to do that again for another 40 mins

Poor choices by Johnny kicking to the corner there. Only one team in it and they’re losing. Great handling tho’

Won’t beat New Zealand without scoring lots of tries, right to go to the corner IMO.

Dominating the game, hard to believe they are losing at moment

That late hit on Sexton should have been another yellow, but what really boiled my piss was Whitelock telling the ref that Sexton was just moaning in response to the ref instructing him to talk to his team, and then Pearce not pulling him up on it, especially after the "moany c*nt" comment earlier.
