Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

It was never mandatory as far as I'm aware.

You can purchase them online, at a bus station or from the driver.

It's theoretically mandatory for Expressway but I've never seen it enforced, at least on the 100X.

It's encouraged on Expressway (in order to guarantee a seat), but it is not mandatory.

Yep, just encouraged. There's only 500 destinations supported on the Bus Eireann website available to purchase. Plenty of stops where it's not possible to buy a ticket on the Bus Eireann website. e.g. Ballymahon town.

"Customers accessing this website may buy National tickets online for journeys between up to 500 popular destinations throughout the country. Bus Éireann serves over 3,000 locations nationwide so it is not yet possible to buy tickets online for all destinations. The online ecommerce system is undergoing further development and will be expanded over time to include additional destinations.

We do not take bookings on this route, we operate on a first come first serve basis so tickets can be purchased on the day of departure."
