Loss of smell and taste

Had covid 2 months ago. Lost my sense of taste and smell. Its been coming back and then going again. About 2 weeks ago it came back fully for a day. In the evening it appears to be better than the morning. Very strange. Has anybody tried different things to help it. I.e. Zinc etc?
