Immunocompromised and third dose?

Hi

It was recently announced that immunocompromised people would get an additional vaccine dose and this would be considered a completion of their course rather than a booster. I’m immunocompromised due to medication and illness but similar to the initial vaccine I am finding it difficult to get more info on how to get the third dose? Anyone any info?

I'm wondering the same. For me anyway, Day Services provided a patient list to vaccine admin for first dose. Hopefully, it will be the same for third.

Would you have a link to the third dose announcement?

My other half is immunocompromised (cohort 4) and received her additional (3rd) dose of the primary course almost 3 months ago.

So next week, when she reaches 3 months, she'll be eligible for her booster.

Has anyone who got a 3rd immunocompromised dose had their booster (4th jab) yet?

Had no idea that is how it works. I'm immunocompromised and got a booster shot on Dec 1. Confused!

I think it depends on what cohort you belong to. There was an earlier cohort of immunocompromised people who received their jab mid oct as a 3rd vaccine rather than a booster , they were people for whom 2 vaccines were not as effective as they were for the rest of the population. They are due a booster jab soon.

However those of us in the immunocompromised cohort who got a jab in late Nov/Dec got a booster, not a 3rd vaccine, and there is currently no plan to stick us with more of the good stuff!
