If she tested positive she just stays at home for 7 days. After that doesn't matter it she is still testing positive.

So she wanted someone to do the test for her?

    Get to the point....

One that she'd been allowed to use before, caller. Unlucky for her the counter was staffed by a pair of pig-ignorant morons.

I agree but this would be very difficult unless she's seeking access to businesss that actually have toilet facilities, such as bars, restaurants, hotels etc, a Hardware store surely couldn't be expected to offer toilet facilities to general public

Could she not have called her GP and gotten a free PCR?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,669 ✭✭✭touts

She demands that the pharmacy perform a service that they don't provide.

National Karen's day today it seems.

    name and shame them

Is this phone in Karen Tuesday? Pharmacies are under no obligation to test someone and risk themselves getting inflected. She should have gone to her GP.

I don't think she understands the concept of "self isolation period" if she is walking into 3 different pharmacies.

Literally the opposite of discrimination they treated her the same as everyone else

If they thought she had Covid, surely they were within their rights not to want to accomodate her?

What we need now is a few deaf people to ring in again.

Gosh, sorry to hear that. I do sympathise with the lady who's genuine and honestly I'd not have refused to help, more out of common decency.

She said herself she was still in her self isolation period, but instead went around to 3 different pharmacies.

Joe to a blind person: You can't drive obviously.

That license fee is money well spent.

I'm fairly sure there'd be insurance issues for the owner if she injured herself in there.

She could poke her eye out

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 34,410 ✭✭✭✭gmisk

Why was she going to multiple shops to get tested when she hadn't finished her isolation period?!?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,008 ✭✭✭Sorolla

    Eye - phone

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 18,522 ✭✭✭✭Busi_Girl08

Ok, but would she not just sit out the recommended 7-10 days of isolation and move on with her life?

Both Woodies and B&Q in my locality used to have toilet facilities for their customers. The last few times I was in both shops the Jack's were outta bounds in a manner of speaking.

I now go to another hardware at the roundabout on the Roscommon road with ladies and gents toilets inside the front door.
