Richie Reid and Paddy Deegan have been well entitled to their positions anytime selected up to now. The fact is we have had none better. I agree we need change but replacements have to be up to the standard. I agree also Paraic Moylan and Darragh Corcoran are entitled to decent game time even though I honestly don't see either of them being the answer mid summer. I feel hope lies in all those under 22 age brought into the panel along with the likes of the returning Timmy Clifford and the two boys who up to now were unable to commit, Liam Moore and Cahal Beirne. Zach and Owen Wall not quite enough hurling for the top level and that always has to be the starting point imo.
