Danesfort were definitely the better team but should have had 1 possibly 2 red cards today, Commercials were Dublin representatives last year too so must have been a restructure up there.

It's mad the way it's done in Dublin now, commercials were in senior 3 (there's technically 30 senior teams in Dublin!), not sure how they got bumped back down to intermediate. Either way, you'd be hoping that a team who won't be out of place in kilkenny senior next year should be able to dispatch a team that isn't in the top thirty teams in Dublin.

Kilkenny have always had a massive advantage in Intermediate and even more so in Junior due to Kilkenny having having 12 senior teams.
I believe that' when Kilkenny Junior champions play a cork side they are around the 50th best club team in Cork

Kilkenny have it absolutely right though, this nonsense in other counties of having multiple senior grades, and intermediate premier and all of that other codology is just a way for teams to be able to tell themselves they're better than they are, like the way half of Tipperary can tell themselves they're senior clubs. Completely dilutes what it means to be a senior team.

Yeah the 13th best club out of 41 clubs in Kilkenny, plays the 50th best club in Cork out of 223 clubs.

So Kilkenny is putting forward a club in it's top 32% versus Cork putting forward a club in it's top 23%.

Hardly earth shattering difference and a disadvantage to the Kilkenny club on that look. Cork does play silly buggers with clubs many clubs split for football and hurling, same area two clubs. Only two instances in KK I'm aware of doing the same but I don't know the numbers in Cork so can't work it out more accurately. Also I'm assuming your 50th number is tongue in cheek their intermediate is likely higher than 50th.
