    Joe understands 0% of what is going here with pre paid cards, finance company, Mastercard etc.


    He genuinely thinks that vouchers are a bit of paper that's signed by the shop owner with a fountain pen.

    I buy one for all vouchers the odd time for nephews and niece, they are in NI not as if I can send money in post. Works fine.

    Especially when the amount of money is known, just give people cash, write a Post-It note on it as to what you think they should spend it on.

    When I was young I used to get vouchers from various aunties for Christmas/birthdays etc. I used to hate them, because I'd discovered the likes of Amazon which had a much bigger range of bukes, than Easons did and do. Or I might actually want something from HMV instead. I didn't like to say it but my feeling was:
