I have never thought about this.

Places like pornhub are infested with minor abuse videos, revenge porn and trafficking videos, and people depicted in them spend years trying to get their rape videos removed. Pornhub et al will hopefully be so screwed eventually by damages payouts that copyright issues will seems like small beans to them. If there was anything remotely ethical, moderated or straight up about that site or its competitors, it could be defended, but there is not.

Look at this crap - this is what happens to some people. This teenager found her father's search history. How completely messed up would you be as a teenager after seeing this?

It's hilarious that posters who don't join in on rampant sl*t and k*nk shaming are scorned for "not wanting to start a conversation," and accused of being the same person. I see it in every thread, sometimes I'm lumped in with them. It's getting old, guys, find another windmill.

I think it's a damning indictment of our society that so many womxn have resorted to such desperate measures as selling nude photos and videos of themselves when it is still considered to be such a taboo to do so, which they themselves would be well aware of.

Similar to people who work for Uber Eats, or are employed under zero hour contracts, I don't personally judge womxn who start Onlyfans profiles. But I do question that this idea of being in a state of employment limbo without any of the protections guaranteed under proper full time contracts and their associated benefits.

Onlyfans in particular masks this by claiming the franchising of people's eroticism is "empowering" and "liberating" when in reality the opposite is true: they are signing away their bodies to the Onlyfans Pimpcorp and getting a pittance in return.

Sex work is the oldest profession and yet sex workers are mocked and shamed for it by corpulent commentators who gorge themselves on the feed the sex workers dish out. Hypocrites to a man (and it's always men).

No, it's the new term used by feminists, male feminists in particular.

Apparently, the "man" at the end is an insult to women.

And didn't some clown not us "amen" recently in the US as it's again insulting to women.

First they came for the socialists...

An industry well worth destroying. Few things more cringey than inadequate men boasting about watching porn and pulling themselves off.

An industry built upon exploiting vulnerable young women using false promises, threats, coercion, and drugs. The viewers are also victims in a way as they then have difficulties forming healthy relationships, unrealistic expectations of what bodies look like, and what partners are expected to do as part of a sex life. It’s why there are so many angry single men complaining about feminists.

as you're so fond of saying to others, lots of anger there Jonny Dr

They tried. But because users were uploading it as fast as it could be taken down they went into deals with the site. They also hired people who used to work for RIAAA, the guys that sued napster. But it was too late.

Within a couple of years of pornhub and other porn streaming sites appearing they were getting something like 80% of the traffic and revenue. So porn companies were faced with either going out of business or changing their business model to pivot and use them.

I believe poor Johnny has shuffled off his mortal coil.

His metamorphosis into the Abominable Dr. Phibes was completed in January, it seems.

Not sure why having 'man' at the end of 'woman' should be problematic. After all, God took a rib from a man and made woman, it's the least women could do to acknowledge everything men have done for them.

When you say companies are you talking about websites like Pornhub, xHamster, etc.

    or

Production companies like Brazzers, Dog Fart, etc...

Why anyone would call a porn company dog fart I'll never know.

There's something very odd about someone who would censor the word woman like it's a swearword.

Lol it is far from a pittance they are making.

Average earnings is 180 dollars per month, an average raised by the big earners. Most contributors earn less than 145 dollars per month.

I advise OnlyFlans if you really want something hot (or cold) and sweet as an alternative.

No, he just added it as a joke as a nod to newly elected women, not because it's insulting.

I can imagine a scenario where a guy is planning on raping his wife or girlfriend if they won't have sex with him. But in meantime he watches some porn, relieves himself and no longer forces sex.

Im guessing a few less rapes happen in the world cause of this. Doesn't make porn right, but is it the lesser evil?

If men choked the chicken like in film something about Mary before going out, how many rapes after a night club would there be

That's a pretty warped view of men and male sexuality.
