Loads of pros and cons to a donkey
Noisy
Attract a lot of undesirable around
Eat a lot of carrots
Follow you around
Need dosing and pour one regularly
Need feet kept pared regularly
Some of them are horrible and total jerks. Most are lovely though
Need a stable and concrete yard and land
Need hay or haulage during the winter
They only eat the nice grass and leave bits they dont like so it will need topping
Kids love them and so do parents.
They can and do bite it's a fine balance between under feeding them and over feeding they get laminitis very fast.
They follow you around like a puppy if you give them treats
