Welcome to Boardsies Greatest Irish No.1 of the 90s
162 songs have topped the Irish singles charts during the 90s, one of the greatest decades in music.
Now it is time to find which is the greatest as voted by Boardsies.
Format.
A qualifying round will feature the songs which spent 1 or 2 weeks at the top (those which spent 2 weeks will be seeded) - 80 songs, 40 matches
The 6 best placed losing songs in the qualifying round will also go into round 1
A quota and time limit will be used in the early round, I will specify this before each round7

I saw repeats of the original Top of The Pops editions from 1990 on BBC4 over the weekend. They are making their way through each year, currently two weeks at a time, every week. If that's what you meant, that was not TOTP2, which are special editions with humourous off-camera commentary and some information on screen.
I have to admit that I record most of those episodes, but not all. Even then, I end up skipping through much of the songs - the advantage of recording! Often my favourite parts are the charts countdowns!0 -
