Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. Because Onlyfans cuts out the middle man, and the money goes to whoever makes the stuff.

  • Registered Users Posts: 48,990 ✭✭✭✭Lithium93_

How the ass hasn't fallen out of Onlyfans? Simple really. SEX SELLS, and people buy it.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,866 ✭✭✭Pentecost

I'm not sure how I'd have coped if my favourite female wrestlers and/or celebs were on OnlyFans when I was 14 or 15 with no money! Showing my age now but seeing a Sunny photoshoot in Raw magazine back in the mid 90s was enough to wreck my head, never mind the idea that you could access sexier photos for a relatively small fee.

Fair play to them if they and their partners are comfortable with it all I guess. Though I agree Thunder Rosa looking for a free meal is unnecessary.

If someone is Gonna make an onlyfans account then show fanny, tits or ass.

I wouldn't start a podcast on pornhub like. Etc.

Since the start of 2020 WWE have released a 120 wrestlers and producers and at least 50 office staff

Two have been rehired Zelina and Joe.

It just shows how much talent they were hoarding and need

Didn't know that about Thunder Rosa. That's mad!

He's wrestling next week for NJPW Strong I think.

Pretty sure he just made that up as I've seen nothing like that.

Sorry, if you haven't seen it that means it must not exist...

I mean there's no date on the picture so that could have been for a time pre AEW when she was actually on the Indies and getting paid feck all.

  • Posts: 13,688 ✭✭✭✭ Maisie Crooked Loudspeaker

I'd buy Thunder Rosa dinner if I had CashApp.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,205 ✭✭✭✭B.A._Baracus

Since her debut in 2014, Rosa has wrestled for Lucha Underground, nwa, roh and others. Even if this picture was taken before aew she was still earning decent coin wrestling for top Indies.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,866 ✭✭✭Pentecost

Yeah it's a bit unnecessary and small time. She was hardly struggling to feed her family. I'll forgive her though.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,009 ✭✭✭✭titan18

Didn't Lucha underground have lots of issues paying people. I mean it's still crap and I don't agree with it unless exceptional circumstances (medical issues with the US healthcare system etc), but there's a chance that photo is pre AEW

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 29,284 ✭✭✭✭CastorTroy

She's wearing a mask so she was contracted to NWA at least since last March?

Anyway, I'm curious did Velveteen Dream ever get work after being released? I know he shouldn't be but there are some that would probably do it for publicity of some kind

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,205 ✭✭✭✭B.A._Baracus

Sorry but did you not read my post?

Even if it was pre aew, even taking away lucha underground, she was still wrestling for companies like roh, nwa and countless Indies. Check her cage match profile. Not only did she rise to top level fast she was always working. It's not like she wasn't earning. Not like she was wrestling in front of 20 people for a hotdog before landing in aew lol.

But even forgetting all that. Doesn't she have her own money? I mean if I hit you up for a taco right now would you give me the money? Of course you wouldn't. Why should you, why don't I spend my own money. Its cheeky. It's not right asking for it. You can understand some homeless person on the street tapping you. Not someone who has a job, let alone a wrestler (even pre aew!) Working for top Indies and selling merchandise.

On this, her father mocked Lince Dorado getting fired the other day (although he apparently asked for his released) by tweeting "Best of luck in your future endeavours" with a smiley face.

Lince called him out and said "Lets talk in person..."

And that quickly softened his cough...

Okada called him out this morning after his match at NJPW Power Struggle in Japan.

Safe bet he will be a NJPW stand out over the coming year.

    Keller talking about Lee's release.

“Keith Lee, I have chronicled for months and months and months and months and months, was somebody that even people that were rooting for him behind the scenes, became frustrated with him. He just had, in general, attitude issues. Or, as one wrestler told me tonight, “perceived attitude issues,” edging a little bit, others have said outright… attitude problems. He just was frustrated. I’ve heard different things about him in terms of his mood being altered way more than it should in the modern era, about being asked to do a job.”

A few places reporting that it was more than 6 of wrestlers sacked last week were for being unvaccinated and Meltzer is saying that they replaced some of those that were first going to be sacked. i guess those that were saved there will be cut by the end of the year now anyway they just get a few extra weeks.

    Another blast of releases.

Morrison, all of Hit Row, Tegan Nox, Drake Maverick (again) Shane Thorne and Jaxson Ryker.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 38,886 ✭✭✭✭PTH2009

Jesus only a few weeks ago they were bigging up Hit Row on the main roster

What a wreck Morrisons return has been

Jay Lethal accordingly asked for his release from ROH early. As there was a influx of talent being let go recently to avoid being lost in the shuffle.

With more talent getting let go, it just proves he was more right as time goes by eh?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 18,191 ✭✭✭✭RobbingBandit

Morrison is a very sad sight to see this happening to he is a great worker plays a great antagonistic heel would have been great to see him and AJ Styles as a tagteam wonder will he go to AEW now and where or with who would he fit in

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 60,886 ✭✭✭✭Agent Coulson

WWE have released 80+ talent this year alone, ROH have released there entire roster which would not be far off another 60 talents.

There will be a lot of them just retiring from wrestling altogether as there really isn’t anywhere for them to go.

NWA doesn’t have tv, Impact has limited tv, MLW has limited tv.

GCW is probably number 3 promotion now just because it is touring and doing decent live event numbers.

NJPW, AAA have there own home grown talent and will only bring in the best of the best free agents.

AEW is stacked and might look at 3/4 from those WWE releases and 3/4 from the ROH releases this month.

Morrison will surely get a tryout in AEW. Possibly open challenge TNT title shot or something, even if they didn't have space to sign him. Not sure on the others there, and it really isn't a good market right now with what AEW have, ROH done and others not really having contracts. Impact might look at one or two there, probably take a chance on Nox I'd imagine to see can she stay healthy.

More releases, and budget cuts being the reason cited for them YET AGAIN?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 29,284 ✭✭✭✭CastorTroy

I'd say T-Bar and Mace may be going soon as well.

Calling up all of Hit Row, hyping them up, only to release all of them at once....

I'm not sure if they're AEW level, but someone like Impact being able to bring in the whole act that was built by WWE would be very handy for them.

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,253 ✭✭✭The White Wolf

Hit Row as a concept felt like a rip off of a Recording Studio from 25 years ago, and is exactly the type of thing you would expect the likes of Vince and Dunn to come up with when racking their brains over how they can appeal to a young demo.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 29,284 ✭✭✭✭CastorTroy

Makes it stranger that they released B-Fab earlier. It's not like they gave the rest of them much time to save their jobs.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,009 ✭✭✭✭titan18

Top Dolla has spent the last few months slagging off indie wrestlers and Young Bucks so he might struggle cos of that.

It's disappointing about Morrison, was hoping he could get a decent face run even a title push, Miz for his other media commitments I assume will always be safe, hope John goes to AEW

Hit Row seemed to be used on SD since the draft now goners

Be easy to run the “yeah, I was in WWE and saying what WWE wants me to say, sue me” line.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 23,221 ✭✭✭✭J. Marston

Didn't he only mock their sneakers or something? Internet lost their shít, of course.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 20,753 ✭✭✭✭beakerjoe

    Is Swerve gone?

Hes a talent worth picking up.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,009 ✭✭✭✭titan18

Ya, for Young Bucks he mocked their sneakers. He also made a pretty racist one about Jinder that he deleted, and also was saying that the people who got released couldn't promo. Guy has been an ass for a few months online and it honestly wouldn't surprise me that's a reason he was released. His stuff on social media is worth not signing him imo.

Was watching g4 today and Xavier Woods seemed to get a message about this during one of the setup segments as he just got up and walked away for a minute.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 60,886 ✭✭✭✭Agent Coulson

Johnny Wrestling's contract is up on the 3rd of December by accounts today the WWE are doing there best to get him to sign a new contract.

Kyle O'Reilly's contract is up net month as well however by the looks of everything on AEW he will leave and reunite reDRagon there.

Kevin Steen & El Generico also having contracts running down.

The WWE might not have to fire the next round of talent they could just let them run their contracts down and leave.

To be fair I wouldn't blame any of them for resigning new contracts as it's not a great time to be a free agent with so may free agents out there if the WWE are going to pay you a very good downside hand on on there and make good money till the eventually release you.

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,253 ✭✭✭The White Wolf

I'm no contract expert but I wouldn't put it past them to fire all the guys who have contracts expiring if they think they're not re-signing, just so they can put the no compete clause on them.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 60,886 ✭✭✭✭Agent Coulson

Also being reported that Top Dolla rubbed a lot of people backstage the wrong way both on NXT and the since going up to the Main roster and since Vince saw him as the main name in the group it got the other others released as if Vince didn't want him there was no need for the others.

  • Moderators, Sports Moderators Posts: 42,602 Mod ✭✭✭✭Lord TSC

Given how strongly Cole and Fish are leaning on the references, I'd say KOR is 100% gone. They're running those two as if they know for certain a UE/Superkliq story is brewing.

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,349 ✭✭✭Cotts72

Here's hoping those who's contracts are expiring don't resign and move onwards. Wwe is a **** show! Really likes swerve and morisson deserved much better

  • Registered Users Posts: 48,990 ✭✭✭✭Lithium93_

I mean you've only got to look at how The Bucks and Britt teased/hinted about Adam Cole on Twitter, and then delivered on that at ALL OUT. They wouldn't bait and switch like you've mentioned in your post.

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,349 ✭✭✭Cotts72

Imagine being the majority of these released wrestlers and seeing corbin and moss strolling out at SS

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,866 ✭✭✭hynesie08

The 90 days would be superceded by the expiry date, so unless they get injured or resign, it would just be giving them a month to rest before going to aew.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 29,284 ✭✭✭✭CastorTroy

Turning Point had former NXT superstar

    Bronson Reed as Jonah
