Mercedes tend to have superior tactics compared to Redbull.
The next pit stop will decide who wins IMHO.

Here comes the rush onto slicks.

    Bottas is useless

Has since being asked to calm down, they don't want to have to change his tyres too early.

And now he won’t be the first now that vettel has come in to go onto slicks.

    Poor vettel

Vettel skating early on with the medium

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 41,164 ✭✭✭✭Itssoeasy

That’s the harsh on the vettel as he had no control over that.

    Poor vettel

Ah he's well used to it by now.

Bottas could get lapped twice today....

Why did it take them 22 laps to decide on that penalty for Vettel?

    Poor vettel

    Sounds like a bizarre rule.

The rules are so convoluted it took them a while to remember that one existed, it's from the 70s!

Don't understand how they waited so Long for Vettels penalty. Surely they knew this before the race actually started and could've put it in so much earlier.

    Hamilton finding some pace again.

Presumably when Lewis pits they'll fix his wing?

I don’t think there will be many teams queing up to sign Bottas next year. It would say a lot about his career if he leaves the best team and doesn’t even get offered a drive next year...

Am I the only person who struggles to tell the difference between the Aston Martin and Mercedes on the track? Finding them both very similar to see on the TV

Don't think so, it was mentioned that it doesn't affect it hugely. Better with but not a major issue

Hamilton is so much better with worn inters. He's flying out there.

It doesn't seem to be causing him much issues at the moment. They might leave it to manage time in the pit?

The top two are going to be fairly close by then too.

Who is going to blink first.

Same. Both look black and have a similar green across the rear wing.

The Alpine blends into a couple of others as well depending on the stream.

Oh Mercedes didn’t nail that pit stop.
