Why not if you can get away with it.

Ya adamson had a mare but at least it was an even mare each way more or less

You'd have to hope maybe some sustained fitness from Carberry might allow Munster to develop something in attack?

They really didn't do much with the ball today, but I guess Carberry and Murray haven't played together in over a year. Excuses are running out for the coaches though.

As a Munster man that was one of the worst performances I've seen, shocking, Murray is just a dose at this stage

If I was a Leinster fan I'd be furious they didn't score more

And the officials today for such a big game were awful for both sides

Munster as a club are really going nowhere fast.

The likes of Casey & Coombes have been bright sparks in terms of the future.

But so many average players, the starting front row except for Scannell are AIL standard.

Stander will be a big loss to them. People saying JOD will replace him. He may replace him in the backrow but again a drop off in quality. He is 27 now and has been good but not very good.

Says it all when POM is still there will be for another two years.

Munster, or any province other than Leinster, don't have the resources to put a universally high quality team together. It just comes back to the fact that Leinster's structural advantages have and will keep them ahead of all other Irish provinces in perpetuity.

Munster have won 7 of the last 30 fixtures between the teams, and just 2 of the last 15. Unless the IRFU aggressively redistributes Leinster's resources, especially its playing resources, to other provcines, games between Leinster and another province will always have the air of a forgone conclusion about them.

Another case of Munster under performing after the Internationals get back into the squad. The whole energy seems to change.

That’s about as comfortable a final as you’d see.

Congrats to Leinster, made it look straight forward. Score line was very very flattering.

Questions have to be asked about JVG at ths stage, has he moved Munster forward since he took over?

Most people including BOD expected Munster to win, I did as well, instead they looked further away than ever

    No progress whatsoever unfortunately

Absolutely everyone in the media over estimated the Stander effect

A few errors and a high penalty count in the first period from Leinster, but I'm very proud of the performance thereafter and especially the aggressive and disciplined defence, Munster never got a sniff of the line.

Well within this team to battle to another European Cup in a couple of months. Really looking forward to the knockouts, great cup rugby ahead.

We won't have an attack with Murray. His main goal is to stand over the ball posing a while before pointlessly boxkicking

Carbery was hugely disappointing today. Trampled over in defence and didn't look anywhere near his best when he had the ball.

Leinster completely dominant. A joy to watch.

Everywhere except on the scoreboard, they were 20-25 points superior. All credit to them, squeezed the life out of Munster. Murray continues to frustrate, feel for CJ who has poured his heart and soul into the jersey.

I was complaining about him beforehand.
He’s an appalling ref, slightly ahead of those twins that came from Scotland but close to being as bad.

Well that's not going to happen. And even if resources were "redistributed", Leinster were already down multiple players today and there's still a big gap there.

It's the coaching too. Connacht are better coached than Munster, they play with much better incision in attack for example imo

    100%.
Van Grann has indeed been the dud that SA fans warned us about when he arrived.
Can see why they celebrated his departure.

Well done Leinster. By far the better team.

(I copied and pasted that last sentence for the umpteenth time) :(

Big difference between the teams was the backrows. Leinster's linespeed and breakdown work left very little for Munster to work with. Front and second rows gave good set piece. Halves were better than their opposite numbers, and I thought Kearney & Keenan marshalled the back field exceptionally.

O'Loughlin not his best game but the only weak link really. Henshaw, Larmour, Porter, Kelleher all excellent - Porter in particular in those opening 25 minutes was a nightmare to deal with.

But really Munster didn't account for themselves, didn't really fire a shot and went the entire second half without points. It was much more one sided than the scoreline suggests, but again - breakdown / linespeed made it that one sided.

He was very poor today. Just happened to be equally poor for both sides.

Fantastic performances by underrated players - Ruddock, Luke McGrath, Ross Byrne. Conan

Murray is more than good enough to produce an excellent attack. No sign of it today though

Just saw Conan was MOTM, who picked that?

Not that he had a bad game, thought VdF and Ruddock were ahead of him.

He's not a great ref on a good day but there are 4 officials there and collectively they were all poor today

Yes I agree. Leinster by far the better team. But its infuriating and some decisions left a lot to be desired with respect to player safety.

Munster are off in a lot of ways, the disappointment on the younger players faces is a good sign andante a new management structure is needed now.
