Adamson is not having a good match. he missed a high tackle on a Leinster player 5 minutes ago that was 4 meters away from him... Leinster appealing, he says “ on the shoulder “..unless we have a player with a fûcking chin growing out of his shoulder...

His thought processes are so slow, it’s like it takes him seconds longer to realise what he’s seeing. He’s hopeless, surprised he even got a final.
There’s stuff happening right in front of him all game and he’s standing open mouthed at it.

Toner clears out Beirne with a shoulder to the face. Someone check on Joy Neville, she must have the Ovaltine drank
Neville on TMO has been a disaster for weeks now. Nothing unusual there.

That's a penalty he tried to catch it

Every night before bed time they call each other up.

Reads him a bed time story about the boys in blue defeating the big bad saffers and bringing harmony back to the green isles.

Conan and Ruddock been the best players on the pitch

Coombes the only one and I wouldn't consider him a big player

CJs been his usual tireless self. Murray was solid for most of the game and two stuffed box kicks at the end of his appearance don't change that.

I presume Kleyn doesn't fall under the big player category too. As with Farrell

    Yeah definitely a penalty there

    JVG is a bluffer.

Munster haven’t fired a shot today.

Murray is atrocious. Take him off. Brutal stuff altogether.

He plays with very little urgency, which is fine if you are ahead and in control in the last 10 but otherwise you are just killing momentum.

    Some engine from Dev.

Didn't think he had it in him to play the full 80.

Ref has been poor for both teams, balancing out really.

Ah Earls has played very well. 2 high profile errors this half but was indomitable for most of the game.

This is the worst referring performance I've seen. He doesn't seem to have a clue what's going on.

It won't affect the result as he's been awful for both teams

Deserves the full 80 for the day that's in it too.

    What a hit by Henshaw

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 18,792 ✭✭✭✭Clegg

That's a super read from Henshaw.

Spotted the out the back pass to Farrell and stopped him 10 metres behind the gain line.

    CJ had moments alright

I wouldn't have picked Kleyn out bar a knock on

Murray was awful not only two kicks at the end

Leinster haven't let us. And we're making unforced errors as a result

Wonder if we'll see Lowe brought on to smirk for the last couple of minutes.

Tight fives been the major difference

    Leinster way ahead of munster.

    Replacements even more so

Harsh on Casey there, Munster going back in possession but that kick on the full is the game.

Kleyn was huge in the first half defensively. Manhandling Healy and others backwards

    On now
Scrap that, was on the sideline with his top off when JGP was coming on.

Shame Murray's not on the pitch if he does. Always seems to get under his skin the most

Leinster should be 20 points up if not more. The 10 flatters munster. Serious questions about the coaching staff, they’ve been brutal

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 18,792 ✭✭✭✭Clegg

Presumably Sexton failed his HIA? And Ross Byrne is clearly playing injured.

    Harry to start against Toulon?

Very disappointing final, Munster have been poor. 16-6 flatters them.

  • Administrators Posts: 55,101 Admin ✭✭✭✭✭awec

The only way Munster can move the gain line is by kicking it back to leinster.

    This has been terrible. Again.

Munster as a club are really going nowhere fast.

The likes of Casey & Coombes have been bright sparks in terms of the future.

But so many average players, the starting front row except for Scannell are AIL standard.

Stander will be a big loss to them. People saying JOD will replace him. He may replace him in the backrow but again a drop off in quality. He is 27 now and has been good but not very good.

Says it all when POM is still there & will be for another two years. Overrated yet "so important" to Munster.
