France going down the line early.

Hoping for a great game. Not sure who I want to win. Fingers crossed it doesn't come down to ref decisions

    Penaud might be in trouble

Edit - or not...thought he led with a forearm

Two teams, two completely different narratives depending on the result, if France won they are the dominant side in the 6N, if Wales win all of a sudden it’s a close championship between4-5 teams...

    Trysaver from Ollivon.

Barnes’ communication is just so good there - talks through the process very well

Dan Biggar on the crash ball for a try.

Both Welsh scrum feeds straight to the no. 7.
    Cracking game so far.

You'd be fuming at Gareth Davies if you were Welsh.

    Awful kick.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,373 ✭✭✭ongarite

    Great try.
This could be a massive score for both teams

What was he doing? Is he left footed?

If France win this, expect the Welsh team to buy some Scottish jerseys and work on their Scottish accents :p

    This too shall pass.

France are a joy to watch

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,300 ✭✭✭✭razorblunt

Cretin switched off for a second on the line there, was slow to get down.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,373 ✭✭✭ongarite

**** me, I've no idea who will win this game.

2 tries each with both looking like they can score pretty easily

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 45,433 ✭✭✭✭thomond2006

****ing hell, this game is madness.

    This game is nuts.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,114 ✭✭✭UAEguy2020

That right there is why Wales are on for the slam, 2 attacks, 2 tries. We could learn a thing or two when it comes to taking our chances...

This looks to be a game that has a drop goal and blocked drop goal in it.

I think this game will go down to the wire. Each team is playing to their strengths so far and it shows. It is a wonderful game that should produce a fair outcome.

Wales will pull ahead before half time and never look back

Can't see Wales not winning this, based on the first 25 minutes.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 27,370 ✭✭✭✭GreeBo

Flipping hell, I'm going to need to pause this every 15 mins just to take a breather!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,001 ✭✭✭randomname2005

Hmm, did the Welsh ball carrier move his elbow into the tackler's head?

Ah but the French guy didn't drop dead on the spot so no foul apparently!

Looked like a clear chicken wing while running into the tackler. Lifted the elbow into the outhalf's face.

George North was straight off feet there and I think he may have had a tucked arm.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 24,719 ✭✭✭✭Larbre34

Wales will never stick this pace. The ball in play stats must be near off the scale

My Spidey senses tell me that Brian Moore has a slight problem with crooked lineouts.

Who is doing co-comms on Virgin Media?

It's very finely balanced at 17 pts each. They've showed great composure to not let their guard down. 2nd half should be a cracker.

I half want the team in red to be British at the end of this.

And the other half wants the French to throw it around in a manner that only they can.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 91 ✭✭Bluwave

The French back 3 couldn’t catch covid in a nursing home

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,878 ✭✭✭irelandrover

How is that not a high tackle.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,724 ✭✭✭✭Clegg

I think the French have held that up.

Ref might want to have a look at the grounding.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,790 ✭✭✭✭Burkie1203

Welsh 9 played the ball when off his feet

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,273 ✭✭✭✭Hurrache

    Didn't look grounded either.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 431 ✭✭Vital Transformation

He grounded it. Try, I think.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,047 ✭✭✭Bazzo

Didn't we try these exact kicking tactics against France and have them mop it up?

Begs the question whether our accuracy of kicking or kick chase(or both) was the difference

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,281 ✭✭✭A-Train

    That looks held up
