No, no, no. The Queen was 100% supportive. Shure she loves Harry, he is her favourite. She never told her aides about her support because she hates being the Queen and what she really wanted to do is move in with them in Montecito and get papped by Back Grid every now and then. 👍 🤣

Who knows but does it matter? She wouldn't have had much say about her dad naming a horse after her at age 5 would she? It's a bit of a stretch to compare that to this completely different situation that occured 90 years later. Must have taken some digging to find that article

All she had was the name Lillibet - she hadn't a penny left after paying off Andrew's victims.

Did the horse only live for a day?

I've no idea about any article, I imagine google found it though.

It seems to be quite a common name for horses. Miss Lilibeth (4 year old) is currently doing the racing circuit. British breeder, but French owner.

Then there is an Irish horse named Lily Beth (24 years old) ...

I could go on .... but look for yourself as to how many horses that are around at the moment ... GB should think twice about declareing war on countries that have horses named after QEII.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,908 ✭✭✭ceadaoin.

What do those horses have to do with their family situation though? Nothing. Anyone not in the royal family could call their child Lilibet too and I'm sure the queen wouldn't give two ****. It's because her previously close grandchild who had become estranged from the family and slated them to the world chose to use a personal nickname for the matriarch of said family either as a dig or as a way to make it appear there was still a close connection. It's not that hard to understand.

Also, lily beth is a much nicer name imo. They should have chosen that one as an homage to the queen, and guess what, I bet she wouldn't have cared then and may even have appreciated it. Same with Elizabeth.

WTF is going on? H&M adherents are talking about horses’ names from the 1930s‽ I’d bet a few euro that none of the posters on this thread were even twinkle…. blah blah

The issue here is that Harry and Meghan (with Meghan in the driving seat, carrying the car keys along with Harry’s balls in her Dior DSSOS purse whilst cosplaying Diana in order to keep Harry entranced) engineered the registration of all those website names before the baby was born - to whomsoever. If it was a “Royal birth”, there are protocols about Line of Succession and birth registration that were not followed.

As usual with H&M, this is a walnut and three cup trick. They cannot be trusted to tell the truth - which is factual, and not an interpretation towards “their truth”.

Meanwhile, both King Charles and Catherine, Princess of Wales, are having to undergo medical procedures. Best wishes and a speedy recovery to them both.

The adherents have moved on to saying that the surgery Catherine has had is a tummy tuck now so I'm sure we'll see it posted on here soon. Weird how it's all so coordinated, almost like they get a script

LOL, She doesn't have a tummy to be tucked. I don't know much about tummy tuck ops but am guessing that they don't require a week's stay in hospital. My guess is that it's a hysterectomy or some other female plumbing job.

Hysterectomy you're not kept in 10-14 days. I'm assuming its more likely to be a digestive tract issue given its such a long stay something like a whipple or bowel resection would have a fairly lengthy hospital stay

    QEII sure loved her horses.

How about you addressing the inconsistencies in the statement as to what the Queen said to an unnamed 'source' in the Royal Family.

    1. Its an obvious lie that the Queen didn't own anything but her nickname bearing in mind that she had £14m to bail out Andrew and she personally owned Balmoral and 100 or so racehorses. As head of the Church of England and quite a religious person, she would never have made that statement. Would you agree?
    2. Lilybeth was born about 2 months after the Oprah interview where the only controversial statement was about some members of the Royal Family being 'concerned' about the colour of Archie. They made a statement that it was not QEII or Prince Philip who were the racists (and in fact never named anyone).
    3. After the Oprah interview, QEII was in constant contact with H&M. They were invited to her Jubilee, she had private meetings with them all after Lilybeth's birth. Now if she was displeased as you make out about them using her nickname, why would she have done that? Also remember that in another book published by another 'royal expert', she was delighted about her great grandchild being called Lilybeth.
    4. If she was outraged as being claimed now over the use of a nickname, presumably the reason she wasn't outraged at Andrew was down to the fact that it was taxpayer's money that paid the 14m as she doesn't own anything except her name to pay it off.

2 weeks, will be tough on William. At least he has his mistress.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,338 ✭✭✭✭jm08

It seems that they are now backtracking. Seemingly, it wasn't the naming of the child Lilybeth was the issue, it was how it was handled! Seemingly the Queen didn't like words being put in her mouth. Well, she would be very unhappy about the words (lies) that have supposedly come out of her mouth according to them.

It is very common for people in the public eye to register websites so as to protect them from exploiting their names. I see they also registered a website name prior to the birth of Mary Mountbatten Windsor.

Ah yes this rumored affair which stemmed from an article by Giles Coren, an article he confirmed was based on tittle tattle gossip/purple monkey dishwasher and which, because the likes of Twitter head cases took as fact, he re-iterated that it was gossip. Lets not allow that reality stop you from taking a pot shot while his wife is in hospital though. Classy. 👍

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 42,959 ✭✭✭✭Boggles

I must of missed a thread memo, when was tittle tattle and gossip banned?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,653 ✭✭✭valoren

There was no memo. Sure wasn't Harry beating up sex workers (one of whom suffered brain damage) when he was deployed to Afghanistan*. The palace had to cover it up. I wonder if the organisers of the Legends of Aviation Awards are aware of this toxic speculation and gossip* which stems from the balmpot fringes of the internet and social media? I'd lump that in with the William affair/mistress speculation. Fantasy that belongs on cess pit platforms.

Why? A Royal having an affair is hardly an alien concept is it?

I'd be more surprised if he wasn't.

You seem upset by that plausible possibility.

    Interesting.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,653 ✭✭✭valoren

What brilliant logic. It has been established that Royals have had affairs and so it follows that other Royals might be having them as well. In that case Harry might be having affairs as well. It's plausible. I'd be surprised if he wasn't. He is still Royal isn't he? Sure all you need as confirmation is some tweet by a Bot or maybe a **** stirring gossip columnist **** stirring.

You're fierce for saying people hate Harry and Meghan here but your pot shot can't hide the hypocrisy of your blatant hatred for William. Bear that hypocrisy in mind when you go winding up posters by inferring they are haters. 👍

    Of course it is.

Why would I hate him because he has a mistress?

It is very common for people in the public eye to register websites so as to protect them from exploiting their names.

Except in H&M’s case, they registered them in order to exploit their children’s names. I do feel sorry for the children.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,653 ✭✭✭valoren

    Of course it is?

    1. I'll sign up to Twitter using an anonymous handle.

    2. I'll tweet some made up spiel about how a friend of a friend who works in an LA hotel has regularly seen Harry checking in and staying over night with a woman who isn't his wife. My friend says the rooms they use only has a double bed.

Huzzah! Harry now has a mistress. He is Royal and there is precedence there after all. Now would someone be ridiculous to state as a fact that Harry has a mistress simply based on the above? That is essentially what you're stating with William. It is quite frankly weird to drum up debunked gossip when his wife has had what is reportedly major surgery.

It is quite frankly weird to drum up debunked gossip

I must have missed that, how was it debunked?

Also why are you upset with this "gossip" but not the reams of other gossip that this thread thrives on?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,653 ✭✭✭valoren

See earlier post. You did miss it. Or else you're ignoring it deliberately in the interests of wind up merchanting. Debunked twice by Giles Coren.

For feic sake, you never see or hear of their children. They are doing the exact opposite shielding them from all publicity. The only kids being exploited for likes are the Cambridge/Wales kids.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,338 ✭✭✭✭jm08

Debunked by Giles Coren who is dependent on the royals/tabloids for his livelihood? Have you not heard about the agreement between the RF and the gutter press - hands off William & Kate, they can say and do as they like with H&M.

They registered several possible names. Probably Mary in case the Queen said no to Lilybeth.😀
