    Thin pancakes with lemon juice and sugar/syrup/honey. Classic and simple. Everything else is just frou-frou.

    Self raising flour, 2 eggs, lots of milk.
    Dont make the batter too thin, as its harder to control on the pan.

    Then... stew up some cooking apples (bramley) , DO NOT ADD SUGAR !!! (thats a sin!!!)

    Make a nice thin pancake, spread stewed apple across liberally....
    repeat until you are full as a pencil case.....

    Yummy.

    Drop a few blueberries in them when they’re on the pan, drizzled with maple syrup and a dollop of fresh cream on the side. There is no better option. Ignore everybody else.

    This - with mascarpone instead of cream. Some raspberries on top also.
