February Paint

Ectoplasm

Striking while the iron is hot! Hoping to get a good crowd for this one.

If you haven't played before, MS Paint works by your host (aka me) sending an original image to a player who describes it in just 10 words. Then that description is sent on for the next player in the chain to 'paint' that description.

This continues down the chain until it is complete. The reveals are always hilarious and it is all good clean(ish) fun.

If you are interested, please sign up below and be sure to let me know if you have a preference to be a painter or a describer.

I'll do either one, found another whiteboard in this gaff recently, so I might not MSPaint it if I'm painting!

We're up to at least 6 whiteboards, it's a big house, but this takes the cake.

Sign me up please, would prefer to describe just 'cause of timing issues at the moment but if you're really stuck for painters then I'll paint.

Oh yeah , I'd be fecking marvellous !

Haha, I would also have called that a stepladder too, I always think of ladders that stand on their own, no matter what size, as stepladders

I'll join in if I can describe - the thoughts of trying to draw a description terrifies me, and anyway I don't think my dinosaur of a laptop would be up to it

ETA - although I've only read through about three of the steps in the recent one so far, I reserve the right to run a mile after I've read the whole thing!

Had to go back and see what the fuss was about. Then google it. It is apparently a wrestling event called a ladder match. Whatever. It had steps not rungs and it was freestanding. It was a stepladder.

Well I'd probably call one that leans against a wall a ladder (without the 'step' ) but honestly the distinction a bit vague, I wouldn't be betting on it

Ah sure I'll throw my hat in for the describing. I've missed the last few games but I think I could do with something fun/insane/confusing to break up the current monotony. Bring on the madness!

I'm going to start this off tomorrow. I'll post the order and send it to our first describer. I have tried to accommodate all requests but most of those who said they would paint if needed have been drafted. Let me know if that is an issue.


I'll leave sign ups open for another couple of days for latecomers but we have 10 complete links as it stands now, which is great!

This is my first attempt too and if I see (draw?) blue smurfs where there are pink unicorns well hopefully ye'll all just be in stitches

So here is the order. I've been kind to our newbies and positioned them towards the start before it can go too pearshaped! (Let's be honest we all WANT it to).

If this doesn't suit anyone please let me know, and there remains a painting position open.

I'll send the original picture to Heidi this afternoon if there are no objections/reshuffles needed.

Yes. I'll send Heidi a picture and they send their description back to me.
I send that description to ari and they send a link to their image back to me.
I send the link to the image on to our next describer and so on down the chain.

For anyone who is painting, THIS is a link to an image hosting site you can use for your image if you aren't already familiar with another one.
