I cant see ,how people have allowed emselves to be sucked into thinking locking up kids equals compassion?

Its same service, what overseen it all along,do people honestly believe it will change fundamentally in a few weeks??

What is your solution for when there is an unexpected surge of unaccompanied minors attempting to cross the border? We're all dying to hear it.

Poll: Biden's approval tops 60 percent

    Well done Joe.

Given his compassionate polices on immigration, this is no surprise.

The "caged kids" posters don't do solutions, you need to use your brain for that. They just mindlessly parrot the same rubbish over and over again. They're best ignored.

    Well done Joe.

But his disapproval has actually been creeping higher, from 34.7% in late January to 38.3% entering March.

"In January, more than 5,700 unaccompanied minors crossed the border, up from 4,850 in December and 4,500 in November, according to data from U.S. Customs and Border Protection, or CBP."

Biden took over on Jan 20th. But it's all his fault now according to some on here. A month later. They ignore his pledges to overhaul immigration and detention - much of which is already under way. It's pathetic and childish.

Let them to their relatives/person waiting for em within 12 hours if possible

Opening, what are to my eyes, concentration camps is utterly wrong......like you guys thinking this is best option is maddness, its inhuman, immoral and utterly wrong by any measure......being an immigrant, illegal or not, shouldnt be grounds for imprisioning

Labeling as compassion,or messing with words, when a schoolchild can see they are effectively concentration camps and the adminiatration is bullsh1ting the public into making this acceptable is all that is wrong with the 21st century and modern politics

So the majority approve of him, isn't it great?

There's that cancel culture coming into action when you hear something you don't like.

    Same thing imo

theres no child arrives to someones house, unannounced, there are always sent to relatives etc there already......

my father had an aunt that immigrated to america alone aged 14 to be with an older sister

They arrive at the border, what should they do with the unaccompanied child when they arrive at the border?

What are you doing about the children locked up in Ireland?

That's exactly what they're doing. As soon as they know who that minor is, who their relatives are and are confident that their life is not in danger if brought home then that is what is done. This can take 4 hours to determine, it can take 40 hours, it all depends on that particular situation. But it costs on average $775 a day to keep a child in Carrizo so you bet your ass they're working as fast as possible.

Article admits to them aiming to.go from 42 day to 30 day turnaround?

For one,i certainly wouldnt be painting concentration camps as a success and getting v.salty and defensive at people.pointing to its moral rot and they being utterly wrong

So you don't have a solution, you just know that you don't like this solution. They're not doing good enough but fecked if you know what they should be doing :pac:

We have concentration camps for kids here??

My posts about direct provision and its moral bankruptcy are well known.....hence why i boycott business with links to em and dont vote for parties, which proporgate them...

.i certainly dont cheerlead them, and get salty defending em,they are horrible and a stain on ireland

I clearly stated they should be released to waiting relatives/contacts for em

Tell us again, why concentration camps for kids are ok and how its ok to sneer at anyone questioning it

No, they don't have them there either....you're the only one calling them "concentration camps".

No one is "cheerleading" anything, again, you are the one calling them concentration camps. There are children locked up in prisons in Ireland, are you fighting for them?

To my eyes, they are concentration camps.....someones immigration status isnt a worthwhile reason locking em up

Those kids in ireland, have been convicted of x,y and z....one of whom is a relative of mine,in pats

If they are innocent/uncharged,point me to a case, that i am unaware of

Looks to me,like an excuse to explain it away which to my eyes amounts to cheerleading it

So it's OK to put children into Mountjoy adults prison?

If they look like concentration camps to you then that's your failing, maybe look up the meaning of concentration camp and your next post might not be as embarrassing.

Article admits to them aiming to.go from 42 day to 30 day turnaround?

Yes. This is for those children who can't simply be sent home for whatever reason.
For one,i certainly wouldnt be painting concentration camps as a success and getting v.salty and defensive at people.pointing to its moral rot and they being utterly wrong

And as was the case the last time someone brought this up, your answer is also "not this" rather than actually giving a solution. You don't like that this is the solution (and this is obvious by the words you and only you are using to describe these facilities) but this is indeed an acceptable solution under the circumstances.

People to do the jobs many Americans won't do - like cleaning the toilets in a Trump hotel.

You have basically quoted a Curb your enthusiasm meme clip with Kelly Osbourne, ozzy osbourne's daughter. I get what you mean but the delivery is funny.
