I tried watching a World Series game once and was simultaneously confused and bored.
I've been to terrible matches at Yankee Stadium (fool me once, shame on you) and Fenway Park (fool me twice, shame on me) and decided that baseball is just dull

Still, Wrigley Fields is a much nicer venue than Turner's Cross :p

    Wrigley Field advances

I'm sure something amazing has happened in Turners at some stage but its not doing much for me. Wrigley Field because it looks so..... clean. Yes thats the reason I'm giving because I know nothing of the game :pac:

    Beijing Bird's Nest

    Yeah, that's pretty spectacular.

Both stunning stadiums, but the uniqueness of the exterior of the Beijing Bird's Nest is enough to get my vote.

    This for me too

London stadium because the Beijing bird is giving me Mad Max vibes. I don't like it

  • Bird's Nest. Other yoke is soulless.

    Birds Nest
    One of my noms
One of my favourite Stadiums, class to look at.

It helps that I can't stand the London stadium.
It's fine for Athletics but horrible for soccer

Birds Nest - It’s a bit different and even West Ham fans hate the London Stadium.

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,777 ✭✭✭KathleenGrant

Beijing Bird's Nest because it looks so different.

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,425 ✭✭✭tc20

    Birds Nest for me too.
Looks like something you could make a model of with bits of string & sellotape.
In reality, rather impressive and different.

London stadium for me . Think it’s v impressive

  • Registered Users Posts: 32,956 ✭✭✭✭Omackeral

I'll blow it up a minute or two early because there's no coming back. Beijing Bird's Nest advances 8-3

    The Curragh

Going with the Irish venue this time, it's unbelievable

    The curragh
Because I've heard of it really.

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,645 ✭✭✭SineadSpears

The Curragh - somewhere I've actually know! & have been :pac:

    The Curragh.
It's better and so is racing

  • Moderators, Sports Moderators Posts: 7,176 Mod ✭✭✭✭cdeb

Dumbarton's a good shout; deserves a nomination at least.

But I like passing through the Curragh, which isn't the same as being at the races, but it's enough for a vote here

  • Registered Users Posts: 11,334 ✭✭✭✭Collie D

The Curragh - Been there, great facilities and views. You’d freeze your arse off in that Dumbarton ground.

  • Registered Users Posts: 17,895 ✭✭✭✭paulie21

The Curragh - Have to Kildare really

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,425 ✭✭✭tc20

    The Curragh.
Even if you're not a horse racing fan, there's a good chance most of us will have heard of it, and a fair proportion of us will have passed by it at some stage.
Dumbarton ground is scenic, but is imo, a lesser version of the Norwegian ground from the early stages

The Curragh been there a few times and my dad used to work there
