Its rare you see a line from that far out. Dragons would have been expecting it to stay fairly tight so those closer to the ruck wouldn't have been watching him. He's a big unit who was able to get up a head of steam. Very hard to stop if you're only seeing him at the last second. Arguably one the defenders in midfield should have seen it and at least called it, but again they wouldn't have expected it so were probably not fully switched on.

Yeah but the spacing was way off in the first place, no excuse for leaving a 5 metre gap 2 men out from the ruck. 17 was staring in a world of his own, had no idea what was going on.

Anyone know why Carty ran into an area of the pitch where he'd have no support a min ago? Its as well the game is over because that was daft.

No harm turning over one of the regions away from home with the weekend that's in it.

Dragons have absolutely no organisation around the breakdown and it's feeding into their lack of discipline.
