Maxed at +2.2c in south Laois today. Went above freezing just before 11am. Currently +0.2c in a light northerly/north-westerly breeze under clear sky. Dewpoint is -2.5c! Around 35% of snow cover lost since yesterday morning.

I'm at -2.9 now. I'm a bit lower down than you Doc. cold pooling lower ?!?!

My thermometer decided to die yesterday... great timing - I'm usually within a degree or so of DOC either way

I'm usually close enough to Doc to. Surprised there is such a difference at the moment. My low last night was -1.7
