I know your last sentence there is a tongue-in-cheek comment but I think it's worth highlighting that last century's fascists were military men for the most part. When you're holding a hammer and all that. A highly ordered society would fit in perfectly with such a mindset.

The Gemmaroids are essentially the opposite. They don't believe in anything, have no capacity for hard work and lack anything resembling discipline or cohesion. Their only card was to attempt to shut down all criticism using strawmen. Then she goes and affiliates herself with actual 21st century Nazis.

Yes, I heard that interview driving home yesterday evening. Very upsetting. It's amazing how Gemma and her ilk can influence people. To most people their nonsense is obvious and ridiculous. There are two old sisters who live together near us and the amount of dangerous disinformation they have regarding Covid / Ukraine / Trump / NWO ect - all the usual predictable suspects, is astonishing.

I should be appalled by this latest behaviour, but simply inured instead. O'Doherty is shameless creature, whose presumed mental breakdown was catalysed by a susceptibility to the worst corners of social and political ideology. She'll never be sorry because she doesn't know what to be sorry for; she needs help but presumably any support network gave up long ago, probably incapable of reaching her.

Just heard a mother of a son who committed suicide last year.

This creature used his death in papers claiming it was from the vaccine.

Poor mother distraught about it and the creature won’t row back.

I think both can apply here: we know she lost her husband and it's entirely possible grief has been a catalyst for an indulgence in conspiracy and prejudice. She was always thus but the mental health breakdown caused by becoming a widow mutated those thoughts.

That's not to say I feel any sympathy for her, but nor do I think her appalling behaviour came out of nowhere either. Lotta rungs to fall down to find yourself on a Zoom call with a 3rd Reich Advocate.

I don't know much about her beyond what I've gleaned in this long running, pre-rework thread. I know she was at one stage a well regarded journalist who had done some anti-corruption stuff. There's nothing to suggest this sort of perverse regression from that into Third Reich sympathiser.

But like I said, I don't really know.
