    The fact that there was a warning suggests more of a domestic group rather than global terrorism.

    Thankfully the injuries were minor, yet still very strange.

    #Cincinnati Police Department is investigating a suspicious RV parked near the Federal Building. Explosives experts assessing the vehicle.

    This may end up as a false alarm, but the police have requested the bomb squad to come out and take a look.

    Is it not a slight coincidence of what's actually in the clips on his page? To what they are referring to to what has happened it's all abit bizzare and weird but the FBI will look into.

    Have a few friends in Nashville and first thing I thought of was an IRA carbombing. The Leo video is fairly mad too. Interesting situation.

    Police said the RV played listening music, played recorded, gunshot noises, and a warning to evacuate the area. It's very weird, agreed.

    Police said officers arrived at the scene a good 20 minutes or 30 minutes before the explosive went off and the police knocked on doors and told citizens to leave their homes. The loudspeaker is why the police responded like this.. Right now; it seems the bomber's intention was to destroy property and not kill people? That's a guess, and nobody truly knows the motivating factor here.

    Driving a large bomb around a larger metro area not an uncomplicated task. It carries risk. The blast damage from the explosion may or may not be right this speculation, the bomber had help? Bomber had training possibly- military or least was thought the knowledge to produce a very large bomb.

    Reports from police say the RV that exploded had a recording that played the vehicle would explode in 15 minutes.

    They were called to a “shots fired” incident, but once they heard the recording the bomb squad were called. Unfortunately (or perhaps fortunately if it put any of the police or bomb squad as risk of injury or worse) the bomb detonated before they arrived.

    Definitely intentional based on that, however it does beg the question why do early in the morning?

    Thankfully, as of the latest news no one has been confirmed dead, but three people were brought to hospital for injuries.

    Empty street paths, that time of the morning Early morning, still dark can leave the scene undetected . Or did the bomber not flee the scene and just committed suicide ( Stephen Paddock type scenario?) Lot of unknowns here. The loudspeaker countdown seemed to be timed to the bomb going off. Getting that right is interesting. I truly wonder right now if the bomber fled the scene or did the bomber stick around to make sure the speaker kept playing and end his life there? Escape more logical, but the bomber not your common middle eastern Sunni bomber.

    Seeing as they found human remains at the scene, it would appear that the bomber stayed to set it off, because presumably they knew they couldn't escape unseen.

    Depends on what you mean by “the bomber”. Do you mean the individual who drove the RV to it’s FINAL destination, or he bomb maker or the people who planned this attack or the overall strategy or the organisation’s intelligence officers? Or maybe it was a lone wolf.

    The fact that they warned people to get away suggests they didn’t want to kill civilians or even police. I think it only makes sense as part of a longer campaign of bombs and making demands, but time will tell of that’s the case or not.

    There are loads of militia groups in the US with all kinds of nationalist, white supremacy, Christian Dominion, and many other unpleasant flavours. I’d expect more of these attacks in the near future.
