There's problems with the squad too.... We're just not that good

Bull. That’s just an excuse for a seriously poor coach. Look at Leinster. Also there isn’t that much diff to get 2018 slam squad.

We would not have won against any big team by kicking points. If we don’t have the confidence to attempt a try against Scotland in a meaningless match which is 0-0 we may as well pack up and call it a day.
You dont go for tries so early all the time especially when your setpiece is not rock solid. this isnt a meaningless match
Its also still less than 25 minutes in. Get in front. Win the match first then go for tries.

Why just boot it away with pen advantage?

We always do it. It’s infuriating.

Don’t agree, put Cullen and Lancaster in there and these players would look totally different

Give me a break..... Lancaster yes but not Cullen.

Too many players played on for too long. Sexton. C Healy. And a few more past it too.

Hogg hit that ruck on earls completely in at the side. AR looking at him.

The way Scotland (esp backrow) take the ball at pace is far removed from what we are doing

Whatever about Lancaster who actually has international coaching experience, Cullen is not the answer.

Brilliant box kick and then........no scrum half at the ruck. This is awful to watch.

This team is so poorly coached. Making errors they never would have under Schmidt.

    This is so poor.

That looked like a knock on into Henderson. How is that a penalty?

Blade would have been there but ops he plays for the wrong province.

That ruck was awful. Whoever went in after Stander went right past the ball and left the ball out.

This is not a player issue.

    In the ruck no?

    Ireland missing 30% of tackles😲

Absolutely pathetic in every single aspect of the game

  • Registered Users Posts: 12,784 ✭✭✭✭mfceiling

Fcuking raging at Murray....no point looking at the ref there. It's basic rugby where the 9 should be at the ruck. This is a shītshow.

Jesus that's CRIMINAL. Henshaw busts his ass to win the ball and no one bothers with the ruck

You'd swear they were just sent out there and told to play it by ear. Doesn't seem to be much in terms of structure or plan.

Lancaster I don’t think is a good head coach, Cullen is clearly able to handle that role. I’m not sure if Farrell was ever a great number 2 but it’s very clear he’s no head coach. Lancasters HC record isn’t great either but he was a bit unlucky so who knows. Good number 2s can’t always step up to being the boss man
