Albon with the pace right now but there's a long way to go. Earlier Vettel was going brilliantly, as the conditions have changed he's lost all pace while Leclerc has suddenly found decent pace on inters as it dries.

Hamilton looking for Vettel to be blue flagged.

    That’s not what he said...

Not even half way point yet!

Hamilton looking for Vettel to be blue flagged.

In fairness to Lewis Seb has normally been a back marker this season.

Not just Hamilton but I'd love to see the teams sometimes just do what the drivers say, just to show them how childish they're being.

What are the inters like for wear? They all seem to be losing pace now even as they're burning off the fuel and the track dries.

I find it all a bit childish tbh. Even the strop about missing out on Pole when there's a wet race coming up.

Absolutely, couldn't believe what I was hearing yesterday. Second on the grid with changeable weather when Stroll is ahead of you and throwing a tantrum seemed a bit OTT.

He has the raw pace and talent to be one of the best ever, but it's attitude and mentality that could hold him back

This is great from Albon, but too little too late you'd have to say...

Vettel out of nowhere a few seconds a lap quicker. Shows how difficult it is to make direct comparisons in these conditions.

Except Bottas. He barely has any business being at the circuit.

Waiting until after the race to investigate Max and the white line. Why?

I think its a bit harsh anyways considering the conditions he faced coming out.

Anyone got the live timing? What kind of lap times are they doing?

  • Registered Users Posts: 8,369 ✭✭✭Rossi IRL

The end of this race will be class, maybe even in 10 laps time.

    Vettel and Hamilton catching.

Top 5 all within 10 secs

    Drs in the mix now.

How many Inters do the teams have?I can't see how it's nearly ready for slick tyres. 1.35s in FP1 is all I can think of.

The inters will become slicks before they want to pit

DRS enabled - this should be fun. Game over for Vettel (hope not, though!)

Yeah looks like Albon's wrecked his tyres.

Because the camera on board doesn't have a clear view, the 360 camera will have a better view but you can't retrieve the footage until after the race.

He's a chance of passing Albon.

Lewis reckons it will never be suitable for slicks.

    Four sets according to Brundle.

If Stroll wins, last time the Canadian national anthem rang out for a race win? September 1997, 13 months before Stroll was born.

Can't see how it will be. They were doing 1.35 in FP1 while spinning like crazy.

That would be class, but not expecting anything!

LeClerc on a fresh set of Inters and Hamilton reporting that it's still way too wet for slicks - this is great!

Albon's dropped back 4 seconds from Perez, tyre management required.

  • Registered Users Posts: 8,599 ✭✭✭ScrubsfanChris

LeClerc setting fasted lap on new inters should be the sign for everyone else. Now Vettel pits...

    Albon binned.

Nothing left in Albons tyres there
