Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Lowry got to be doing better with that bunker shot, blessed not to be in the water.

Bryson "Par 67" Dechambeau struggling a bit here

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,776 ✭✭✭Trampas

That looks a strange drop by Bryson

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,720 ✭✭✭✭AdamD

Not to kick him while hes down but that looked a questionable drop from Bryson, surely closer to the hole?

Commentator said it was the camera angle. Also the official was standing right over it.

  • Registered Users Posts: 439 ✭✭TedR

Think the camera angle foreshortened it. Intriguing to see how he manages this start from here now.

A triple bogey for Bryson on 13... well he did say it was a par 4 for him :D

Is it just me or is the commentary slightly behind the play?

Since he considers it a Par 4 it's a triple for him though!

    He looks well fed.

Rooting for anyone but DeChambeau this week. A soft course will play right into his hands. Nick Faldo (he still hasn't found a personality) vocally endorsing the "science". Next individual who references that word in the wrong context deserves a 7 iron to the back of the head. A juiced up beefcake bludgeoning Augusta into submission isn't going to satisfy the golfing purist. Seve would be spinning.

    why the DeChambeau hate??
Surely Patrick Reed should be top of that list

I like them both to be honest, characters, there’s enough bland players on tour

A combo of being a tool and then the media fawning over him, that's for me anyway

Reed is on my list, top of it but DeChambeau is as well. He's very slow, he has a bad temper and often stamps his putter hard on the greens along with other tantrum type stuff.

Featured groups are on at the moment, not showing much mind. Think more coverage be on now, as in not just feature groups

Top of the leaderboard stacked with great irons players over the big hitters.

Next couple of holes will tell us what we need to know. It's from around the 11th hole that he starts having issues if it's going to happen. He looks really good, controlled swing, playing within himself.

Sorry if asked before. I know the masters is weird with viewing.
Where can one watch the golf. May not be an option for Thursday and Friday. But any way to view on Saturday and Sunday?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,527 ✭✭✭irishgeo

Is it just split tees for Friday and Saturday.

Ah Tiger and Augusta. This is already shaping up so freaking well. What a leaderboard.

So many players who seem to play well at Augusta regularly. Casey, Westwood, woods, Leishman, Louis.
