    Fair Usage policy

    In the ROI: a fair usage policy limit of 50GB , 3,000 minutes and 3,000 texts for use within ROI for the 28 day period succeeding your top up applies to the unlimited Data, Calls and texts element of the €15 Unlimited Plan.

    Roaming in the EU: a fair usage policy limit of 16GB data and 250 minutes per month applies to all plans, including the €15 Unlimited Plan. If you need to contact Customer Care on this please call 1850 789 789 (from overseas call +353 51595169).

    You will be contacted by An Post Mobile if your usage exceeds our Fair usage policy. An Post Mobile reserves the right to charge customers who persist in using the Service where such usage has been deemed excessive or to suspend, at its absolute discretion, modify or restrict your use of the Service or to disconnect you from the An Post Mobile network.

    They say it's "unlimited" but it's not (as per above), if it's exceeded they may suspend service or charge extra. How they plan to implement charging extra on a PAYG service isn't clear.

    I got a sim card this morning but nothing on how to activated it ,it was just the card no welcome pack or anything!, and nothing on their website about how to activate it either...

    Maybe try put it into a phone and see if any welcome texts come in

    Same as that! I received the sim card yesterday, put it in the phone, nothing happened. I have a dual sim phone so put them both in thinking it might port.... no dice.



    Tried calling the helpline to see if i could get ported but gave up after about 20 minutes on hold. Also emailed them but have had no response yet. I'm thinking of not going with them, even if they have vodafone quality call receptions, if this is what the customer service will be like - ie non existent!

    If a post office is close by just walk in. Get a new sim and they will register and activate it for you there and then. Took 5 minutes

    Yeah seems to be fine. No dropped calls / reception good and no change in data speeds (she wouldn't be a big data user though).

    Got a call off a chap working with Post mobile, explained that their phone lines were very busy since they unveiled the offer, and that emailing is the best way to contact them.


    My phone has since been ported to Post from Gomo. However, the mobile data connection has not yet been established. I received the text to update (download?) mobile settings but it doesn't seem to be working. Phone is an unlocked Samsung s20. Anyone having this problem with data or know a way to get it going? Might just take a bit of time. Thanks in advance!

    48 is probably a better deal for most people - 100Gb data, unlimited calls and unlimited texts for €8/month and it's on the Three network too.

    There is indeed far better deals out there but three/48 and eir/gomo don't offer satisfactory coverage for me and some others. Hence this is a good deal for a certain section of society.

    Order online, put in your phone number, pay nothing?
    How long to arrive?
    When it did arrive, did you have to email to port the number?
    Now it's working, do you have a month free after porting?

    does 48 let u keep the 8 euro wen u put it on as tesco mobile charge u 15 euro but you still have 15 euro still on chip plus the calls i think the networks from 8 euro up to 20euro + but take the money and u are left with no money on the sim

    €8 covers all texts, calls to all numbers and 100gb data, what more does one need? For you to get your tesco offer you need to spend €15 and then you only have 30gb of data.

    Just checked there, in a suburb of Galway its fluctuating from about 5mbps to 43mbps (I've checked it 5 times in last few minutes I got 4.6 once but every other time has been above 9, got 26 and also 43).

    Ordered on Friday the 6th - got the sim card Monday morning, emailed them Monday afternoon, got the call yesterday (Tuesday) to port. The port started about 2 hours after and I lost signal for maybe 20 minutes.
    Had no mobile data until I followed the steps in my previous post.

    I haven't paid anything so I assume I have the first month free yes, I need to set up a direct debit.

    Thanks. Sounds like the best method is probably going into a post office if they can do it all there and then.

    Virgin Media have the €5 a month for 6 months unlimited sim offer back again.
    Then 25€ after, but can cancel at any stage after 30 days.

    What is the coverage like with Virgin Media? Currently with Eir and having no issues, only that I'm being charged €30 a month!

    If you are moving to a 3 mnvo you may as well join 48, €7.99 a month for life for 100GB data and unlimited national calls and texts. Use a referral code to sign up and get a free month also.

    Tis grand generally around Dublin. A little bit of while for YouTube videos to kick in. But fine for Netflix/zoom/WhatsApp calls.

    i see its credit card only no vouchers from the shops thats the only difference about 48 i buy credit in the shops and that's it pity a well i stick to tesco mobile for now

    What's the advantage to buying it in a shop?
