Cork looking too ponderous in the forwards.

I genuinely wonder - in seven odd years the Cork game plan hasn't really changed, handpass, handpass, handpass, handpass and mainly in the middle third.

Cork will have to lift a few high balls in to the forwards. Tip are 4 ahead deservingly. Cork need to raise their game considerably.

Tipp playing very well and well deserve their three point lead. Hope they can keep it up in the second half.

If Tipp can keep their heads they have a great chance here.
    Cork not up to much.

That last Tipp score was Dublin-esque

Main reason I stopped watching Cork football - ponderous play the whole time

No matter what the referee does Marty agrees.
    Awful annoying little fecker.

Cork have to make 2-3 changes at half time, some of the lads out there are bricking themselves

Very nice touch. Dont think that was spotted or spoken about yesterday.

It was talked about during the week alright.

Still think we should have done something like Tipp.

Tipp full value for that 4 point lead against a very error ridden Cork team.

Quinlivan keeps adding to the huge reputation - to think he should have been travelling around the world this year...

What relation is Brian Fox to the great Pat Fox who used to chase a Rabbitte?

Had the pleasure of bumping into Pat and his wife as a gasur many moons ago.

    An absolute pleasure,gentleman.

Anyone with any sort of footballing brain would have seen beyond the hype of the fluke victory over Kerry and known this would be a tight game. These sides have regularly been playing in the league for the last decade and quite often there's been nothing in it. Tipp were never going to be in anyway intimidated by that Cork side.

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,534 ✭✭✭Chalk McHugh

Tipp's defence has held up well so far preventing Cork from any goal opportunities. That Cork full forward line of Collins, Hurley and Connolly are lethal on their day so a job well done so far by Tipp.

And have beaten Cork regularly up along the underage ranks

I think some on here are overreacting a tad - two players made 3 mistakes that led to 3 points. Cork aren’t out of the game.
