A friend of mine had 2 boys but had always wanted a daughter, eventually her wish was granted and she had a little girl. Then puberty came along and raising the girl became a nightmare. Moods, drama at every turn, constant stroppyness. She actually said to me raising 20 boys would be easier than raising one girl.

My own sister, now in her 30s is like a drama magnet.

Pre Menstrual Syndrome can have extreme unwanted effects, it was something I used to dread during menstruating years. Menopause was a huge blessing as that completely ceased. Some people are profoundly affected by the curse of a thing, others not at all.

Is it just me or has anyone else used the pandemic to do things that they couldnt do otherwise?

I'm a fattie and have started getting my fat arse out exercising.

why dont they put their mind to something useful

Yup, started baking during the summer, love it, started some DIY around the house, started going out for 'power walks'. These are things I would never go near if I was stuck in the office 45hours a week,

Its the perfect time for kids to get used to there own company and learn something outside their comfort zone. They'd be miles ahead with this if it wasn't for all these mammies screaming 'mental health for my babies' all the time.

And I always mean worldwide, not just Ireland bla bla bla

looking for a PS5 myself too. I will wait until they come back into stock on Amazon or some local shop. Definitely not in a panic to over pay for one off donedeal. I can see parents being put under pressure to buy one by their little darlings thou.

If a child is young enough to still believe in Santa then they're too young for a Playstation 5

    I really don't think so.

Even the people in Normal People weren't really normal.

They are having things discussed with them that's only promoting treatment they don't actually need.

They should have been around in the 1980s when it seemed everyday was murder and bombs in Northern Ireland, kidnappings and punishment shootings/beatings.
It was not pleasant being a child seeing that on the news but we were not depressed.
