    poor darts from both there.
winner comes from the other side of the draw

Failed to take him out,was there for the taking, the difference between good and great players

Feel for Gurney, did so well to battle back twice.

Hate Price but he sure can perform under pressure.

How many classic final sets have we been robbed of by Hearne or whoever’s awful decision it was to have no tie break in the final set.

Why weren’t the players up in arms about that decision.

    Very enjoyable match.

Gurney will be disappointed he didn’t get a dart at a double

While i’m no fan of Price i think that’s the best result for the casual fan. Don’t think Gurney or Bunting if he gets there gives MvG a game of it in the final.

(Very presumptuous to say MvG will be in final i know!)

    100%
They should have reversed that stupid decision once the tournament went behind closed doors on the second day

I think it was a bad decision too but they were taking it from a safety point of view so the players wouldn’t really have a leg to stand on

I think Gurney has a better record on tv against MvG than Price Bunting and Chizzy

To be fair, i don’t think they’d have been right to change the rules after the tournament started either

Said it before but the 3-2 final set finishes are a complete farce. How can you have a knock-out match where one player has an advantage from the outset?

Jaysus, something I haven't considered really when looking at the draw has suddenly become realistic

Price Vs Ando final, now that would be tasty

They throw fir the bull to decide who has throw so there is zero disadvantage really.

Throwing for the bull isn't the same as winning a leg against the throw though.

Great. They’re both in yellow. This is gonna get confusing.

    5-1 or 5-2 to mvg

    Lime green!

Anyway, one's got a big glowing bald head so not hard to tell them apart.

could be a 9 darter voodoo for chizzy

  • Registered Users Posts: 37,964 ✭✭✭✭PTH2009

Chizzy will need to stay at that pace

MVG will get better as the game goes on

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,996 ✭✭✭boomdocker

    Bedafook, some darts from Chizzy!

  • Registered Users Posts: 11,274 ✭✭✭✭mdwexford

Chizzy looks a different animal this tournament.

This is going to be another classic.

MVG will need to be at his best.

great first set from chizzy,he needs that form the whole way through this match to have any chance of winning.

price and anderson would be smiling if mvg gets knocked out

  • Registered Users Posts: 21,625 ✭✭✭✭Johner

Come on Chissy. Thought that set was gone but good recovery.

  • Registered Users Posts: 7,712 ✭✭✭Mr. Guappa

Deservedly 2-0 to Chizzy despite the missed doubles. MVG looks well off his best so far.

  • Registered Users Posts: 11,274 ✭✭✭✭mdwexford

    Michael bottled that last leg.
Not playing well enough at the moment.

MVG really out of sorts here

Long way to go in this yet.

The gamblers around here should be backing mvg now. Easy money.
