He hit some terrible darts after that

The Europeans are doing very well this year, there maybe used to the quieter atmosphere or something. Hard to know

Waites should probably have beaten him in the last round so I don't think he can complain too much

Hope Anderson wins too but at the end of the day it is up to him to come to terms with Sulovic's style of play. There is nothing in the rule book that dictates he has to play at a certain speed.
