Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

No point persisting with Cronin or Healy. Byrne and Kelleher on at HT.

This is an incredible performance from Saracens. They've made Leinster look like also rans in this. It's astonishing to watch.

There's still plenty of time but it's difficult to see how Leinster or my betting account recover from this.

Not sure what Leo can do at half time, maybe JGP in for McGrath, Byrne on for Healy, Kelleher on for Cronin.

    Game over.
What a perfect half of rugby for Saracens.

This is quite sad even for a Leinster supporter to watch the team get minced.

Game very likely over. Shocking from Leinster but they've come back from this before.

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,229 ✭✭✭A-Train

Ah just so bad! This is so embarrassing now. All the wins worth nothing when they keep losing to the top team.

    So bad in every area.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,617 ✭✭✭lawrencesummers

    Instead of 6-15 it’s 3-22

That’s a killer Sarries can kill the game for the entire second half.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,567 ✭✭✭✭AbusesToilets

What has this team been doing?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,018 ✭✭✭Bridge93

Second best in quite literally every aspect and area of the game

It's a complete replica. Simple game plan based on incredible work rate and power which we cannot match.

    Leinster's heads are completely gone.

Sarries and England have Leinster and Ireland’s number. Not even close to competing with that power.

Not only are they playing great, we're ****ing shyte. Christ.

Game was over when Daly put them 12 up. Now this is simply embarrassing. I've no idea what's happened to this Leinster side. Haven't always looked perfect in attack, but always up for the physical battle. But today they've been simply overwhelmed.

Worst thing about this will be the crowing from Stephen Jones despite Saracens obviously being in the wrong for years.

Irish sides have nothing to offer when a side gets in their face. All well and good smothering Ulster or whoever. England NZ and Sarries have shown a soft side

You'd have to question Leinster's mental preparation. They were off from the first kick off and have a big error count. Most of that is due to the opposition but there's definitely a lack of cohesion and nerves which has caused a number of them.

We knew they would play this way, it’s not a surprise, just can’t believe we didn’t have a plan for it.

I thought that was just a failing of the national team, but it's seemingly ingrained at all levels.

Yeah, beat us in a good game from both sides, but it's appalling when it's so one sided.

Heartening to know that the only team that can over power Leinster are a bunch of absolute cheats.

Not too take away from the players Saracens have fielded moreso that the club overall has been rotten to the core for many years and this is the last kick.

It's not just about power, it's about line-speed and shutting down space (illegally a lot of the time). We need to deal with that. We've done nothing to make them worry about getting off the line in defence. Disappointing, and we need a serious rethink at half time.

Wonder has it gone against Leinster that they haven’t had many tight games in last few months?

Sarries performing all over the field.

What’s the worst about this, is now having to listen to all the crowing on BT Sport. They earned the right to crow but it’s still sickening

Listening to it on Radio 5 Extra. Commentators are reasonably neutral/pro English side.
If I was neutral I would think Saracens are worth their huge lead.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,567 ✭✭✭✭AbusesToilets

Game is over. Saracens don't have to anything in the 2nd half. Just tackle and jackal. Leinster pose zero threat

Jesus this is painful to watch. I seriously don't want to hear pundits waxing lyrical about leinster when this is what they serve up when it counts

Isn’t it a cop out by the organizers that Sarries are even still in the competition.

They have achieved their place in the competition by means of their league place that has been proven to be in contravention of this rules.

They should have been thrown out of Europe as soon as the cheating was confirmed.

It’s complete hypocrisy that they are not eligible to complete in their league but can compete with that squad in Europe.

Sarries performing all over the field.

It's probably gone more against us that we've been too cocky in resting players and rotating since we came back.

Sexton not starting last week, Cronin coming in ahead of Kelleher despite little game time, VdF starting over Connors last week. It shows that majority of the Sarries squad have played a big chunk of their games since the return.

So bad, it's like we didn't prepare for this game at all

Of course they've a plan for it. But it's near impossible to combat this level of aggression and work rate. It's not helping that we're collapsing but it's very hard for any plan to negate pure power.

Saracens haven’t had this XV playing every week either in fairness.

Swinson has been starting. As has Hunter-Hill.

Back to the drawing board. They look shell shocked. Need a miracle.

Funny seeing the narrative here turn from "we'll beat these undercooked cheats" to "they're only winning cause their cheats"

Home side have been awful and if you can't see that you're disillusion
