Some people are a bit OTT with their reactions to Covid-19 in the outdoors. I give people as much space as I can, but I ain't going to run onto the road into oncoming traffic just to give someone 2 metres as I pass them. You get people throwing the glare or making a big point of stopping and moving up against a wall as you run by - let them at it is my attitude. We all have to share the space as best we can. At the same time, I'm not going to be coughing/spluttering/blowing snot rockets near people - bit of common sense all round is all that is required. But if people think they are at risk of Covid-19 from a runner passing them in 0.5 of a second outside in the fresh air, they really don't understand the risks. Same ones are probably pulling their masks down to talk to Mary in Supervalu for 20 mins.

So true - if only we could keep them in air tight containers covered in cotton wool . You’d wonder how they get through life

An initial rant triggering more rants and little in the way of constructive discussion, so I'm closing it
