Avoid it mate that my only advice AVOID AVOID AVOID

Any particular reason why? It’s an odd looking house but nice views from it I’d say

    Never go there.
Don't ask anymore questions is all I'll say.
    Forget you ever saw it.

Just make sure you never view that house when 12 mythical birds appear on the roof. That includes pictures or in person

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,063 ✭✭✭ParkRunner

What caught my attention driving past it recently is the door on the first floor that goes nowhere, apart from straight down to the ground for anyone who went through it

Same here, what is the background story to it all?

Its an abandoned house obviously left ideal for a few decades built poorly on an exposed peninsula. Its not loftus hall btw.

Id say there is nothing more significant than a small family perhaps a dispute and perhaps a breakdown in relationship and no heirs to take it or the land.

Agreed, when the volcano stack that is the Canaries eventually falls in to the Ocean all of the south coast will be wiped out by a Tsunami.
...or are you referring to something else?

Rumour has it the husband came home and caught the missus in bed with the milkman. In a attempt to do a runner, the milkman ran out the upstairs door that leads to nowhere but down... Anyway, he didn't survive the fall and to this day his ghost haunts the house.

As others have stated... stay away, don't even ask about it.

Lol @ all the superstitious nonsense and warnings. Its a house. If its abandoned that probably means it isn't cost effective to renovate. That is all

Went in there to take some pictures when visiting Loftus Hall once. I can't be completely sure but I'm almost certain I saw a skeleton sitting in the sitting room.

The Deadly Door of Doom awaits intruders... the Milkman ghost will ensure you meet your peril... jump or be pushed, you decide.

well, thank God you had your camera.....:pac::pac: edited to add pacmen

who's up for a spooky night time visit. There's a Friday 13th in November, dark early, probably a bit of a fog, with crunchy grass frost underfoot. I'll bring my hockey mask and chainsaw for protection!

    ...dang, gif wont upload.

Your scary warnings would be taken a lot more seriously if you gave some kind of reason

Oh, I don't know... I'm already having second thoughts about the planned excursion on Friday 13th. Might bring TWO chainsaws.

That would be mould of color.

Damn, there's mould in it . Ah here! Are you trying to put me off?

    Ok, hockey mask ? Check.
    Two chainsaws? Check.
    Rubber Gloves? Check.
HazMat Suit?........ hmmm, have to look in my own attic, see if Ruprecht is still using it.

Any more gear needed and I'll have to forget about using the e-scooter to get there.

There originally was (or should have been) a balcony at the front of the house, the two doors would have led onto it.

It is a very lonesome looking house.

My take on it is it was built as a marital home for a young couple in the 80s and they had hopes of having a large family.

For whatever reason or other the marriage hit the rocks and this was before divorce was legal and the man and his wife went their separate ways leaving the house vacant
