    Come on Alaphilippe :)

He’s an easy fella to root for. Great attacking win

    Nice ( and Nice)
    Good finish by Hirschi too.

Alaphillipe's watch worth North of €100k. Must be nice to be sponsored.

Great attacking cycling and a fantastic finish. I was sure they'd blown it but chapeau to JA

Nico got the 5 points for Col d'Eze as a memento for his struggles today :)

Dan Martin ended up in the pack 18 minutes down. I think this is a good think for his stage chances. Too often, IMO, he hung around the top 10-15 on GC and wasn’t allowed away at all

I'd say Dan is close enough to early retirement. I'm guessing he's not recovered from the injury.

As for Alaphillipe, I remember a GT where Dan was fancied to do well and JA didn't help him for a yard of the 20 stages. Popped up for a snakey stage win alright.

NIco was going very well today ...best in awhile

He couldn't chase Allaphillipe cos Hirschi up the road.Mind you he woudn't have beaten him but still he was going well

Dan Martin does not look good tbh

Yeah Dan is still feeling the fall at the dauphine I think. I was going to say Herman might be the man for Israel but he lost a tonne of time too.

I saw an interview with Dan Martin and he said this team aren't going for a GC place with him and more individual stages

The watch is a Richard Mille, who sponsor Bahrain-McLaren. So nots ure if they also sponsor riders, or its a personal JA thing.
    It looks hideous as well.

He seems to wear it on the bike which is odd?
