Hopefully this is the right place for this question:

Can I ask, has anyone ever rented a boat through Click&Boat? Seems to be a type of “AirBnB” for boats. What was the experience like?

Just looking at renting a boat for a day or so in Greece next year, so considering my options. Any other recommendations would be great

    Cheers!

I’m also looking for any comments here from users of this Click & Boat site.

The website is very comprehensive but a lot of the reviews are terrible. Or is there any reliable alternative for direct sailboat hire, in Europe without the risk of being scammed ?

I’ve used it twice for powerboats - both times exactly as described and the owners were very accommodating etc.

I will say it took a lot of over and back to prove to the owner in Spain that my ICC was accepted…

I would say it probably depends where you want to rent and if there is a listing with enough good reviews to satisfy you - I’ve used it in southern Spain and Santorini, both were perfect.

Thanks Pete, I’m looking at Sardinia or Portugal so will look further into it.

I have used one of the bigger companies in Greece but usually need a minimum one week hire and can be quite expensive. Sometimes would be nice to do 3 or 4 days.
