The amount of talent that was in this contest was second to none. Brilliant selection of songs.

Thank you Reb for an excellent tournament :)

That was a truly epic contest Reb, thanks for running it. I have to say that the quality throughout was amazing, probably better than any other of these music contests, and that was in no small part due to the huge diversity of the music chosen. Definitely my favourite "Best Ever..." music competition to date.

Funny thing is I Heard It Through The Grapevine wasn't even nominated; it was one of my wildcards.

Happened before in the TV Character contest too, Tony Soprano and Walter White weren't even nominated so I had to Wildcard em in

Same here, it was one of the songs that I assumed would be a dead cert to be nominated by somebody.

Great game Reberetta and a very deserving winner, although both final songs would have been a worthy winner

Biggie Smalls went out without a single vote. Boo. Good game Reberetta. Worthy winner.

Well Done Reba, another great contest.
I would have given it to Otis Redding myself, he left behind some great music before he died at 26. What a voice he had real soul

That said, marvin Gaye is a very worthy winner and you can't fault heard it through the grapevine.
It's also great to see all the excellent classic soul numbers that made it to the later stages and the lack of (c)rap music ;)
