That was a truly epic contest Reb, thanks for running it. I have to say that the quality throughout was amazing, probably better than any other of these music contests, and that was in no small part due to the huge diversity of the music chosen. Definitely my favourite "Best Ever..." music competition to date.

That said, marvin Gaye is a very worthy winner and you can't fault heard it through the grapevine.
It's also great to see all the excellent classic soul numbers that made it to the later stages and the lack of (c)rap music
