Prince When Doves Cry - one of my nominations. One of my favourite Prince songs ever. The way he was able to create this masterpiece without any bass in it is a testament to what a genius he was!!
The Supremes You Can't Hurry Love - I wouldn't be a big fan of the Supremes but this would be one of the songs that I know and like (I actually discovered it from the Phil Collins' cover)
