    Sawduck
Wild Cherry – Play That Funky Music

Have I listened to this artist before? Yes
Have I listened to this song before? Yes

This is a lot more Funk than Disco (the title doesn’t lie :pac:) Never been a massive fan of this unfortunately.

An astute choice here, I never would have thought of this. I love the string section at the end. A dancefloor filler!

Great tune, whatever happened to them, they where everywhere in the late 90s and early 00s and kinda just disapeared. I havent heard of them in years.

    The Purple Tin
Donna Summer – I Feel Love

I always thought this as more of an electro song than Disco. I think it was the first all-electronic number one? Either way it’s fantastic!

In 18th place with 4 points is
    Pretzill
    Labelle – Lady Marmalade

Have I listened to this artist before? Yes
Have I listened to this song before? Yes
Can't say I like disco at all - I couldn't think of a better one

Who invited this party pooper? :D It’s more of a Soul song than Disco. The lyrics are rubbish, even Patti LaBelle had no idea what the song was about. She doesn’t even speak French!

No lyrics to this but I found myself bopping along to it before long. Didn’t know Indian Disco was a thing but we learn something new every day :D The guitar has a traditional Indian sound to it.

Yeah not a massive fan of disco but remember reading the story about the artist so dived in.

If this doesn’t make you want to get up and dance you’re not alive! A Disco classic!

    BeakerJoe
Rick James – Give It To Me Baby

Have I listened to this artist before? Yes

More funk than disco and I’ve never liked any of Rick James’s stuff.

    CJ Maxx
Scissor Sisters – I Don’t Feel Like Dancin’

Despite the title this absolutely makes me want to dance! Great choice, I never would have thought of it for this round but it is 100% Disco.

The Hues Corporation – Rock The Boat

This always reminds me of those parties you were dragged to as a kid where everyone would get on the floor and pretend to row a canoe. I thought that was cheesy then and my opinion hasn’t changed!

Another HI-NRG classic I absolutely love. It stays at a high tempo the whole song but doesn’t get tiring because there are so many different sounds coming in and out throughout.

    FixXxer
    Turisas – Rasputin

Have I listened to this artist before? No
Have I listened to this song before? Yes the good version.

Oh god my eeeeeeeeeears. I love the Boney M song. Why didn’t you just send that instead of subjecting me to this? As far as covers go they do a good job of capturing the original song but I just can’t deal with the guitar and drums…. and vocals….and is that every instrument in the song covered? :D

Earth, Wind & Fire – September

One of the most feel-good songs ever. The horns are brilliant. The chorus is great to “attempt” to sing along to in a high pitch :pac: A worthy winner!
