Right will throw this up while it is fairly quiet
I have a decision to make .
I am back clear in main money leagues. However , the spectre of TC chip looms large in one.
I am 60 clear and he wildcarded last week. The 2 players that leaped out at me regarding potential TC were sterling and Auba as i do not own them.

My squad
pope (henderson)
TAA, Doherty, Taylor
KDB, Foden, Salah, Martial, Fernandes
Greenwood, Vardy

henderson, DCL, Fernandez, Egan
1FT and 1.2 ITB

Planned transfer was/is Vardy to either Giroud/Ings. If it is Giroud then he will be sold for Ings next week. It saves me selection headaches (already have enough with defenders having decent games). And then gw38 prob Salah to Sterling

However, I am wondering if I should get sterling in for Salah(or indeed KDB) for a hit and protect myself from potential TC.
In the other leagues everyone has KDB and gap is 40/50. This is the most lucrative and the TC chip has me nervous.........but I am also mindful of gw 37 when Salah is up against a porous chelsea defence.

What do ye think ?

I'd say hold off. No guarantee that Sterling gets as many minutes as Salah for the run in. There's also a lot to be said for avoiding sideways hits over the last 3 gameweeks. If I was in your position, I'd stay put and just get Giroud in for the one week transfer.

Same thinking, you couldn't trust a TC on a Man City player and if he uses it on a player, I wouldn't actually be too worried (famous last words).

Hold firm and do what you have planned for pending team news for tonight.

He could use it last Gw with Salah vs Newcastle would be a guess.

PS. I have some feeling DCL could run a muck with Villa having to go for it. I'm starting him for sure.

I'm 1 point ahead in my money league, 2nd place has TC card to play.

Took a -4 hit:

Vardy -> Jesus (C)
KDB -> Pulisic

Just convinced KDB won't start with the FA Cup semi-final at the weekend or maybe the pressure is getting to me

Tough call km79....
I'd lose KDB to get Sterling.
I've no Liverpool attack and was blessed that Salah didn't go big last GW.

I'm considering Sterling too for KDB. I say surely one of Jesus and Sterling will lead the line, but keep chickening out.

May just bring in a Hammer for Maguire...

Annoying that day one of the GW has only one fixture. Hopefully someone comes along with a bib theory from some City training photos.......Busts to the front desk please. :pac:

Lots of talk here that Alonso will get the start tonight.

I was thinking of getting James in but this is putting me off. Was he injured that he got taken off or where is the thoughts of Alonso starting coming from.

So many choices this week, bring back the all out attack chip for next year.

The bench boost one is a bag of sh!te, all out attack would've ideal for this rotation nightmare

I'm not sure if Alonso starting would help or hurt Pulisic. Alonso is a glory hunter. But then again so is Pulisic

Good chance of a leaked line-up five minutes before deadline. The free hitters see a high ceiling for him if he starts as we don't think he starts normally and the FA semi is this weekend.

Does FH work like a WC once I use it?

As in:

(i) Can I make a raft of transfers now and change some later without hits?

or

(ii) I gotta make all transfers in the one go and select free hit then?

Now that I've actually brought him into my team I'm not 100% on Giroud.....it's come down to a call between himself and Alonso basically. Some early team news would be handy but I may not be in a position to exploit it unfortunately

Edit: Alonso in for Justin; and Ings back in for Giroud.....happier with the balance now I think

Make unlimited transfers for the GW once its activated. So can tweak it as you go along and make any late changes, ie. Chelsea players later.

Double Wolves defence on a FH, I'd wait for Chelsea team news and get in one of their defenders and risk one of your other 3 from Chelsea. Or else United, Palace are muck. Spread it out a bit would be my advice especially when only starting 3 in defence.

Thanks guys I am still mulling it over
TBH if i had the TC chip left myself I am not sure I would risk it on a city player this week! It might be auba over next 2 weeks that I have to worry about

Still unsure on my transfer or captain. I wish the deadline was sooner!

With one eye on gw 38 I am edging closer and closer to getting Jesus instead of Giroud in.......DCL to ings next week then but would have a selection headache. Would leave me a FT for 38 then but would have foden who probably won't start. He is proving to be a pain in the arse tbh.
Will Pep really start Jesus again though.........aggghhhhhhhh

Would be coming in for KDB (who I dont think starts). Other City would be Mahrez (prob won't start) and Jesus.

Taking the big hit might be a bad idea but sure I need to gamble at this stage. Any thoughts? Leaning towards C.

On FH:
I've convinced myself to move Sterling to Salah today.

Going by Sterling's 90 mins at weekend and the Pep quote of changing 6 or 7 players.
I'm trying to maintain a lead so don't want to take the risk of Sterling minutes.

I'm going to hold KDB but I think he will be rested too.
