    Hi,

    As mentioned by some other people here the process with Faulty Goods is

    1. Repair / Replacement.
    2. Refund.

    Have a look on www.ccpc.ie

    They outline your options and it is clear that you as the consumer have the right of choice regarding a Repair / Replacement

    The regulations are clearly shown on the CCPC website and they list all of a consumers options and one of the main points is that a Replacement or Repair should be free of charge.

    So if I was in your shoes I would check out our consumer rights regarding faulty goods and then contact Lidl customer support and seek a resolution to the issue.
