Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

- pass here too. I don't really know either, except the former by reputation but more as a lifeguard than as a crime fighter.
They spent more time fighting gangs and murderers on the beach or having gun fights on boats than they ever did lifeguarding on Baywatch.

Baywatch was awesome, might go back and binge watch
I still throw on an episode every now and again. Its class, especially the fact that almost every episode includes 2 full (mostly unknown) '80s songs mid-episode set to montages of the cast looking broody, usually when faced with a tough decision, and by the end of the song they're gonna do the right thing, as if we didn't already know.
I can just imagine the writer going to the producer and saying they've got a great script, but its about 7 minutes shorter than it needs to be...
PRODUCER: Do any of the characters have to make any decisions in this episide?
WRITER: Well I guess Mitch has to decide if he actually wants to take down the criminals or continue allowing them to put the beachgoers in danger. I wouldn't really call it a decision, he's obviously going to do the right thing, its Mitch, he always does.
PRODUCER: Nah its perfect, we'll get a 4 minute montage out of that easy, my son's band have a new song out. Anyone else got any big decisions to make?
WRITER: Not really, the only other thing really going on in the episode is Caroline has a date.
PRODUCER: That'll work, we can have a montage of Caroline deciding what to wear. My daughter's orthodontist's neighbour's niece has a band, they'll get some exposure and I'll get brownie points all around.
WRITER: Actually I just had a really good idea on how to add some more jeopardy to the episode, give me half an hour and I'll have new scenes that should make up all 7 minutes we need.
PRODUCER: No forget it, we're doing the montages!
WRITER: But...
PRODUCER: I've made up my mind. Great work Simon, you can go now.
WRITER: (softly) My name is Alex.... ***walks away in dismay***0 -
