I just checked and I have been on the program since I don't remember when (obviously). I may have a look.

I'm just a little sad that it looks like the cheapest decade in gaming history may be coming to an end. I suppose I should be thanking MS for that at least.

Incidentally, I bought a PS5 yesterday, looking into the costs associated with that which I'm not sure I can bodge around. . .how is the thing selling so much?!

Children want the PS5 because their friends have PS5s and for whatever reason it's become the go-to console. If parents were more clued into these things and the cost of them, the Series S + GPU would be the go to, it's makes no sense financially to do anything other than that.

I was talking to a neighbour the other day (he's 13) and he was telling me he's getting a PS5 for Christmas. I asked him why - it's because all his friends have one, and he wants to play Rocket League and Fortnite with them...

It's becoming more and more annoying.. I did both mobile and desktop searches this morning and they were all registered but they've disappeared now and new ones not registering either. On the up side, the jigsaw puzzle is back (and ironically registered 3 searches..)

Just finishing up with rewards app on console and I have to do 50 bloody bing searches (on my 2 accounts😁).

It was taking about 3 minutes to turn in one mobile search. I uninstalled and downloaded again and now seems to be back to normal.

Puzzle pieces back since yesterday!

Just requires 3 searches to complete.

9 points for 6 days and then 100 for the 7th day.

154 points per week with a bonus 1,000 for completing the 12th week.

If I was pushed for a guess, I think they may use this to take over from the other daily points for PC and mobile searches.

What is the reason for this to exist otherwise? 🤔

Cashed out too. Initially on Xbox it said there was an error... contact support...

Went to PC, wouldn't go through either but with no support recommendation.

Jumped into mobile and it worked, converted both accounts to the same Amazon account gift card for €60.

Tempted to open a third account now 🤣

I just go into redeem on rewards dashboard website or the bing app and it's there as an option.

Cheers,that link works. I checked the app there and never noticed the 'see more' option on that earlier so I can see them in there now too. Sounds like that's what most people are using them on so I'm guessing that's the best option. Had originally thought of Xbox store credit, but not much I need there. Have 80k points, might cash them out tomorrow

The xbox cards are better value but only have something like 90 day validity. Amazon are good for a year (or so I've been told).

Weird irony in the fact that I just bought The Last of Us from Amazon using vouchers from Xbox Rewards - £45 for a 10 year old game is a bit of a eyebrow raiser in itself and that's the cheapest I could find (most places charge that for 2nd hand from what I can see!)

The earn a trophy in a game pass game quest (or whatever it's called these days) has been obnoxiously slow in popping for me the last few days - every other one is fairly instant but not the trophy one I want my 5 points!

Still not getting the 5 points for trophies, every other quest pops instantly, but the earn a trophy one is flaky at the best of times, very frustrating

That stardew valley quest is horrific, spent a good twenty minutes at it and I only got one fish, think I can live without the 250pts.

You can buy a better fishing rod in the shop beside the peer.

Also don't start mashing the button when your fish bites. Do nothing and the fish will stay around the bottom, then you get a better feel for it by tapping sparingly.

Try find spots with bubbles in the water, tend to get more frequent bites there.

I went down to the fishing shop and just fished off the pier. It took me 2 in-game days to get through it. Make sure you use the training rod as it makes it very easy to catch once hooked.

Don't think it needs to be fish that you catch. Seaweed counts as well, but boots and newspapers don't.

Hopefully this is why daily achievements haven't been popping for me - although I did my usual this morning and had one to turn in but didn't earn any achievements yesterday. Possible they're manually doing them?

If there's an hour of gameplay, start game, put controller somewhere that has the joystick moving your character and watch a TV show...

I had Elder Scrolls open via xCloud for an hour, kept the controller moving and the reward didn't come through. Downloaded it and did the same thing and still nothing.

Anyone else having this issue?

Worked for me earlier, I kept the game open, moved around a bit and went to quests and it was able to be turned in

5 points popped when I got an achievement just now, so seems to be working again!

Also, yeah we've had hour long tasks for points before.

Still, it's 50 times more than popping an achievement these days, so nothing to be sniffed at!

Daily achievement back working but now desktop searches not working for me 😄

Fixed desktop searches by logging out and logging back in, but now daily achievement isn't popping on Xbox 🤣
