Hurricane wouldn't have changed my top 2, but I reckon it would have made no. 3 on my list. The other two probably wouldn't have picked up any points though.

Hmm! Not sure of that! I listed to a podcast about the Hurricane and they concluded that it was likely that Carter knew the men who had committed the murders but refused to be a tout and therefore took the rap for them. I think there was very little tying Reuben to the bar where they took place.

No, everyone just ranks their favourites according to preference and the scores for each song get added up, like Eurovision.

There's no competition amongst the voters as such, it's the songs that are competing rather than the voters.

Of course you could run something afterwards, like find out whose preference is closest to the overall result.
